We had a clay tile roof which had cracked pieces due to fumigation. Skip climbed up on the roof to do the investigation himself (rather than some company fly drones and miss many cracked roof tiles). He gave a quote of competitive price. His guys did the repair job and he gave a 2 year leak free warranty. Very happy about the result.

Had a great experience with Skip from Pavone Roofing today.
With the recent heavy rains our roof developed a small leak. We invited Skip from Pavone to examine the leak. Skip showed up on time and climbed up on the roof to investigate and came back 20 min. later saying that the leak was caused because a small debris of leaves/needle was acting as a dam that blocked a channel causing water to pool and eventually penetrate the roof and leak. Skip cleared the debris and since no actual roof work was needed he did not ask for payment.

We have found our roofer! It's getting harder and harder to find local, owner-operated, small businesses who are competitively priced and can provide stellar services. Skip Pavone is one of these guys. He's been in the business for years, and knows his stuff. He is licensed and insured and has a crew that can communicate effectively and bilingually, as well as do the work efficiently and properly. The tenants were amazed at how courteous and clean the team was from start to finish. Zero complaints. I'm a fan of the peacock man!

Skip (The owner) did a great job estimating, scheduling, and overseeing his crew. I've had to call him back for minor clean up/repair/missed items, he has responded quickly every time, addressing all issues professionally and with care.

I was on the fence between 4 and 5 stars though, due to the dozens of nails and cigarette butts (yuck!) sprinkled around the entire lot. Skip did come over afterwards with a magnet broom and did the best he could to clean up, owning up to the crew and making a great effort. I'm still finding nails and cigarette butts around the backyard, and I'm thinking its a little bit of a necessary evil when re-roofing your house.

Another recommendation to home owners who wish to change their front roof façade/trim boards: CLEARLY request oversized boards before the job starts, otherwise the crew may puzzle together non-contiguous stretches of facade from short 8ft trim boards. The crew doesn't care if you want a perfectly smooth and contiguous facade because its not their house. After some complaining, the right-sized boards were delivered. Skip did give me a credit for T&M spent on the mistake, though maybe not 100%.

I'm still grateful for the work and would totally hire Skip/Pavone Roofing again. Next time, however, I would just be more clear around my needs ahead of time, and go over potential/expected T&M costs so no one is surprised afterwards!

His estimate was appropriate and did not change after the work was completed. He was able to complete our repairs the following day, and he even took care to work around the schedule of the new baby.

We had excellent experience for our full home reroofing project with Skip (Anthony) from Pavone Roofing. Skip was very patient to listen to our requirements, did thorough inspection, gave suggestions, and provided the quote with the reasonable price. The work was started on promised time by the team of two - Rico and one more person. Rico is an excellent roofer, who did thorough and great job. Rico was flexible enough to take care of few extra work for us. The whole project was completed on-time, followed by the city inspection. Overall we are very pleased with the quality of work.

It was a really good experience. Skip arrived on time and immediately clarified who he is from the business card. He identified the problem areas with my brief explanations, and showed the best way to approach the problem points. He took the picture of the problem point and explained the cause and fixed it in 5min. I will be able to confirm it after the another rain falls but I believe it has been fixed. If I have other roof problems later, I'll definitely find him right away rather than searching around.
