My experience with Mark T at Patriot Roofing Services was extremely the oposite as the last review that was left in 2016!

I acquired a property in Middleburg Fl via a foreclosure that had a tarp on the roof for over a year from the last hurricaine!

I received a referral from another real estate professional in Middleburg for the roofing repair as I am in New Jersey and was not able to meet directly with roofers for the estimates.

Mark T was professional, courteous and efficient and super fair on his pricing.

He worked with me and even rescheduled the roof replacement after I had already signe the contract.

He provided me pictures not only of the prior damage, but of the finished product when they were completed on the job.

Being a licensed Real Estate broker (Dorn and Associates, LLC) and also a home improvement contractor (Jeff's Handyman Service) I have dealt with the best and worst of both professions. This was a great experience and I was amazed that Mark did not require a deposit for the whole roof replacement. Let's just say that I am not that trustworthy with new clients, especially in NJ.

Mark finished the project exactly as scheduled with no BS and no unexpected ad-ons.

If you are looking for a roofing job in the Jacksonville, FL area, this is the guy!

I tried very hard to give this company my business. At first I was impressed with the quick call back and appointment. Typically a company should want their quote giver or Rep to be friendly with the ability to engage with the customer. Patriot does not believe in this motto, though. The Rep was not engaging, was in an extreme hurry and promised me a quote by that evening, it never came. I contacted and asked very friendly like if I could get the quote because I was ready to pull the trigger to start. I was informed that he would send it later. It never happened. Found a reliable company that gave me a quote the same day and they got the job the same day.

Last year hurricane Irma dropped a tree on our house. We call numerous roofing companies and Patriot was one of them. Since our insurance was giving us the run around about repairing/replacing our roof Shawn at Patriot helped us through the red tape and came three or four times to meet up with the insurance/claim person to help plead our case. We were thankful Shawn helped us.

In December they replaced our roof (the waiting list for roofing then was long). They showed up when they said, same crew everyday, the crew was polite and accommodating. They used all GAF products and the roof looks great. Then in July we discovered a leak and we call Patriot. They came immediately to resolve the problem. It took three or four visits to rectify the issue but it is resolved. I was really concerned about the service after the sale especially in the roofing industry but I was pleasantly surprised. I would recommend this roofing company. Thank you Shawn and Josh.

They just finished our roof and it was a nightmare!! We tried over and over to tell them not to leave our gate open because we have a large dog but none of them spoke English and they let our dog out several times. Their website says they they clean up but after they left the 1st day I had to go clean up their trash everywhere- even from our neighbors yards. They threw their trach from their lunches and soda cans, tea bottles, etc thrown all over our yard. I stepped on 5 roofing tacks the first night, while cleaning up their trash and they went through my sneakers and all the way into into my foot. They finished the job 2 roof 2 days ago and we are STILL picking up their trash everywhere. I'm afraid to let my kids or my dog go outside because we still have these large rusty tacks all over our yard!!

Patriot replaced our roof and installed gutters. We had to get on the roof and clean up the dozens of nails that were left up there. While on the roof we saw that the gutters are not draining properly. We have called and left several messages and no one had the common courtesy to call us back. When we finally did get someone in the office they told us that they would be out when they had a chance. For some reason that comment does not inspire confidence that they will ever be back out to correct the problem.

Patriot Roofing installed new gutters on my home last fall (one year ago). After the gutters were installed I was experiencing flooding caused by the placement of the downspout. After numerous phone calls and emails to Josh to complain about the flooding caused by the placement of the downspout, I asked him to please come back and relocate the downspout to correct the problem. I will add to this review that I even offered to pay to have this corrected. The few times he did call me back, it was the same old story, that he would be at my house the next day to take a look at and correct the problem. He has NEVER came by and has never had the courtesy to call me. So much for the ten year warranty on labor and customer service. I have been extremely patient and polite to him even though I'm extremely frustrated with the situation. I DO NOT recommend Josh Pennington, Patriot Roofing Services Inc.
