Please Run away from this contractor!!!! I am a pastor of a little church in New Market, AL. They were contracted to build a roof over an existing porch ($20k). They asked for 50% upfront to purchase the needed materials for the project. Our church had been saving up the money to do this project for several years. We wrote them a check for $10k and was told that the materials would start showing up in a couple of days. Two weeks later (after many calls), we finally got some lumber delivered (about 4k in value) but no other materials. When we asked why there were no other materials, we were told that our funds were used to pay for other things (not related to our job). The framing began and their subcontractor contacted our church to get his labor paid for the work he did. Their failure to deliver materials, pay for their subcontractor's labor, manage the project and honor the contract is criminal. Ultimately, we had to fire them and fortunately, we were able to deal directly with their spurned Framing Contractor. I implore you to not use this contractor. They lack integrity and if they will do this to a church, what else are they capable of?
