After 6 quotes from 6 different roofing companies, we decided to go with Paragon Roofing for our new roof installation and gutter replacement. Their quote was detailed and upfront compared to other companies.

Pricing was very reasonable given the magnitude of our project so at this point it's just a matter of how the project will be executed. We were impressed on how QUICK and ON-TIME the project timeline was. Aside from that, the crew that worked on our roof was respectful and friendly. COMMUNICATION with this company was never a problem!

Set up an appointment for a home visit a week ahead, but one hour before the appointment, the project manager Ophir calls and says we can do this over the phone. After asking me a bunch of questions, some of which I couldn't answer, he said they have a flat rate of $2700 per skylight install (excluding the skylight!). if it's a fixed price, why set up an appointment?? Why ask questions? And the price was 3x what someone else quoted me!! Ridiculous.

Roof just got finaled by our permitting authority. Beyond happy with the outcome. We live in the SF bay area that is not known for harsh climate but our local microclimate have us seeing wind up to 60-70mph since we live on the top of a mountain. The previous concrete tile roof was in fact sheared off with such wind.

We only wanted a product that would give us the Spanish tile look, and with a product that is both lighter, sturdier, and even somewhat more affordable than the tile quotes I've gotten it was a no brainer so we went for Decra metal roof.

One of the amazing adding bonus is that since Decra is so much lighter, it's much easier on the frame of our building and we no longer hear loud sounds with wind.

I want to plug paragon roofing and renovations who did this project. Their crew was fantastic and really paid attention to details. I am a big DIY guy myself but know my limitations. I read through all the Decra installation manual and manufacturer guideline, and crews from Paragon stuck to the guideline perfectly. They did a tremendous job and paid a lot of attention to details.

I want to especially commend Nelson who is my contact with this company. I would say he is very honest and trustworthy. I am one of the first customer for this company as they recently changed their name through a merger. It's usually a red flag but I got a good feeling about them through Nelson and my gut feeling paid off. Out of all the roofers I interviewed (there were five), he was the most meticulous, and examined my roof in detail prior to giving us a quote. When materials cost became an issue, he was able to work with us and find something that works better for our budget. He is very communicative and responsive. Due to my work schedule I could not easily communicate during the usual 9-5 but he was able to work with me on that.

The project went without a hitch and passed inspection on the first go. I would say that I am more technical than the average home owner and I screened through every inch of the roof with my own drone, all good work. They were able to fix small issues I had prior to inspection too. Overall it was fantastic!

Stone coated metal tile is a very technical thing, some said it's the most technically challenging and labor intensive roof and I believe it. Nelson and his crew just did such a good job!

I have contacted Paragon Roofing and Remodeling for a roof replacement because our roof is a bit old and would like to get a quote.

Ron came to look at the roof. He was very polite, and explained every step of the process and gave me a fair price. I decided to go with his company and I can't be happier. My
roof was completed in 4 days, including new
gutters and downspouts. The crew cleaned
after every day and no change in price even after we needed to replace 5 sheets of
plywood!

I would highly recommend this company. Ask for Ron, he's really great!!!
