After a leak showed up during heavy rains, I got hold of Elliott at Palomar roofing. He got the roof covered up right away and scheduled us in as soon as possible. They really did a terrific job for us. He was responsive and always showed up when he said he would. I was never left wondering whether he would show up or when. Several heavy rains since the repairs and we are thrilled we have a dry house! Quality work, responsiveness and honesty. So refreshing when dealing with contractors!

I chose Palomar Roofing because of their great reviews on Yelp. I had actually tried a couple other companies first that I found on Angie's List but they were unresponsive. Elliott at Palomar answered right away and showed up exactly on time to do an inspection and give me an estimate on repair. He was able to schedule the work in between storms and got it all done in one day. I highly recommend Palomar Roofing, they were awesome!

Our roof started leaking with the heavy rains this past year. I called Palomar Roofing and they were quick to find out where the active leaks were. Because they were three weeks out on work, Elliot came to put a tarp to stop the leaks. Phew! Once they started the work they were done in 4 days. Hopefully we won't need a roof replacement for another 40 years!! Very professional and fair prices.

We chose Palomar Roofing because our neighbor highly recommended them. They are a family business run by a father and son team. Elliot,
the son, came out the same day we contacted them to give us an estimate to lift the tile on our roof and put down two layers of 40lb. felt. The estimate was quite fair and we were impressed with his knowledge of roofing and what needed to be done. The father and son and another worker arrived at our home at the scheduled time. We were impressed
with how quickly they worked and the fact that they pointed out fascia
boards and other boards that needed replacement due to dry rot. They
arrived each day when scheduled and completed our job as originally
promised. They were careful each day to clean up around our home
and they were respectful of our property. We highly recommend them.

March 19,2018 We made a decision after receiving 5 quotes from roofing companies that wanted to give us an estimate to have our roof done. We called all firms back to allow them to adjust their bid, as we had special requests to match and restore our 1942 cottage home in Carlsbad. The roof of the garage was extremely damaged with termites from decades of abuse and being a peak roof, numerous rafters needed replacing from the peak.Elliot and Elias teamed up with a contractor, Rivera Construction. Upon meeting Elias, Elliot and Raul, we we adament about having the rafters replaced with like and same materials, old school 2x4 redwood rafters. Once the shingles and old roofing was removed, including all the cross slates, Raul Rivera lead his team and replaced the damaged rafters from peak to eve. He milled the rafters personally to match the old school 2x4's(2x4 redwood from local suppliers is really 1 5/8"" by 3 5/8"") ...the completed the garage with redwood tongue and groove eves and redwood trimmed fascia's. When they dug into the roof on the house, Elias and Elliot's team at Palomar Roofing installed 3/4"" TREATED PLYWOOD after removing all the slats. Then it rained. they covered the house with tiger paw undercoating and keep us dry. Once the rafters and eves were done on the house, the most beautiful roof (Timberline HD Shingles) with additional vents to keep the home cooler. The job was not just a good roof, but a father son team dedicated to restore the home with it's original flair. The 4 bay windows were re-raftered to have individual overhangs and give distinction to a home from the 1940's. These guys have it together, their teams were personal, caring, and concerned on how their work was to be appreciated.

In January we had a significant leak in our roof. My neighbor highly recommended Palomar Roofing. Elias and Elliott assessed our roof on a Sunday, tarped it on a Tuesday, and said they would provide us an estimate for the repair. After the work they did for my neighbor and after reading the reviews on here, we felt we needed to hire these guys to not only repair the leak, but replace the entire 32 year old roof. We were satisfied with their estimate and they scheduled the work for the second
week in February. At all times, they kept us informed of work schedules, they were always on time, and were able to complete a difficult job in just 7 days. And they were so friendly! Our final cost was higher than the initial estimate but there were unforeseen issues and we did not feel taken advantage of or overcharged. We knew all along the way what work was being performed and why. I highly recommend Palomar Roofing because of their honesty, professionalism, and work ethic. Such hard workers! A job like this can be difficult and stressful for the homeowner. Not with Palomar Roofing! Great job guys. Thank you!

Palomar Roofing showed up at my house on the wrong day, different than what was scheduled. That part actually worked out, but after they got on the roof to review the status, they committed to provide me an estimate that evening. I haven't heard anything from them, despite reaching out, since then. That was 2 full weeks ago.

After this review, the company did reach out to me and had a good reason for the mix up. I'd give them another chance when I have work to be done.

these guys redid the flat part of my leaky roof and added a sealant coat so now its bulletproof against the rain; Elliott and his dad are very professional and friendly and they know what they are doing; I recommend Palomar Roofing to all.

My wife and I purchased a home in Oceanside a few months ago and the home inspector told us we'd need work done on various parts of the roof, (penetrations, flashings, etc).
We chose Palomar Roofing because they were knowledgeable, fairly priced, and very responsive. They worked around our busy schedule to make sure the work got done quickly and even went out of their way to keep the noise down when my wife was on important conference calls!
They finished ahead of schedule and the work was excellent.
Very professional, very friendly, and very helpful! Will definitely refer them to my friends in the future.
