Palomar Roofing did an excellent job putting on a new roof for our home, including all new tiles. We received quotes from three different companies, all highly rated on Yelp. We chose Palomar Roofing because after we reviewed the quotes then discussed the details of the job with Elliot, we were confident in their knowledge and capabilities to do a professional job. Elliot thoroughly explained the entire process and answered all our questions. He explained that we didn't actually have to replace the tile because it was in Ok shape. That was our choice.
We weren't disappointed in our decision. Elliot and his father Elias arrived on the job with their crew on the date and time promised. The daily work schedule progressed as we were told. It was soon clear they were very efficient and experienced and that they all took pride in good workmanship. Daily post- job cleanup was thorough. Elias was always available to answer questions and was very easy to work with. They were careful to look for any damaged roof wood. Elliot kept us closely informed when they found problems such as a fascia board and an area where a leak had damaged the plywood and rafters underneath that needed repair.
When the job was finished the new roof looked great and we've gotten many compliments from neighbors on how good the roof looks.
In short, my wife and I can recommend Palomar Roofing without any reservations.

Palomar Roofing fixed my roof last week. I had a few leaks for a few years which I ignored. One of the leaks caused interior damage during the sustained, heavy rains we had a couple of months ago, so I got a few estimates. One well known company left me uncomfortable. Didn't even look at the roof. The estimates seemed outrageous to me.
Palomar Roofing's estimate was reasonable and came with a 20 year leak-free warranty. The reviews were good. It's a smaller company, father and son, and of course, their crew. Elliot came , actually climbed up to have a good look. He found the source of one of the leaks right away. He gave me estimates to repair sections and to replace the entire roof. My roof is 30 years old so I had them do the entire roof. We were able to use my existing tiles, replace the felt - 2 layers- plus flashings, bird guard , etc. They found 4 sections of rotted wood which I saw for myself. I couldn't be happier. They showed up every day right on time and cleaned up every day. Took 4 days. They even cleaned my gutters...which contained it's own ecosystem of dirt and moss. Today it rained. No more leaks. I recommend Palomar with high confidence.

We had a roof leak with the heavy rains earlier this year. We contacted numerous roofing companies to get a quote for the repair. We also wanted to enclose the entry portion of the house which had original exposed beams which had extensive damage from termites and dry rot.
We never received return calls from several of the roofers, given that it was a busy time for all of them. Still, no excuse.Two made appointments and didn't even show up! We finally got through to Eliot with Palomar Roofing. He came out, gave a quote for the leak repair, what it would cost to re-do the entire roof and also enclose the entry.
We decided to re-do the roof and enclose the entry. Eliot and his team showed up on time every morning and cleaned up at the end of each day. Eliot and his crew were polite, friendly and personable. They did excellent work for us.
A special shout out to Raul Rivera of Rivera Construction. He and his crew came out and replaced all of the rotten beams and placed the tongue and groove that enclosed the entry. They put in two skylights for us as well.
We are extremely satisfied with the job that was done by both of these companies and would not hesitate to use them again. Thank you Palomar Roofing and Rivera Construction.

These guys are the best!!!! I have a rental that is breaking the bank and the roof leaking was the straw that broke the camel's back! The quote I got from another company was ridiculous! In comes Palomar Roofing! I called because I saw all the good reviews and talked to Elliot. He was very understanding and just a great all around person. He went out the very next day and their estimate was half of the other company!! He was very honest and saved us even more money in the end due to not having to tarp the roof. They even sent me pictures as the roof was being fixed!!! I highly recommend this company! Thank you Palomar Roofing! You have really come through for some very weary homeowners!

After a leak showed up during heavy rains, I got hold of Elliott at Palomar roofing. He got the roof covered up right away and scheduled us in as soon as possible. They really did a terrific job for us. He was responsive and always showed up when he said he would. I was never left wondering whether he would show up or when. I chose Palomar Roofing because of their great reviews on Yelp. I had actually tried a couple other companies first that I found on Angie's List but they were unresponsive. Elliott at Palomar answered right away and showed up exactly on time to do an inspection and give me an estimate on repair. Our roof started leaking with the heavy rains this past year. I called Palomar Roofing and they were quick to find out where the active leaks were. Because they were three weeks out on work, Elliot came to put a tarp to stop the leaks. Phew! Once they started the work they were done in 4 days. Hopefully we won't need a roof replacement for another 40 years!! Very professional and fair prices.
