Herb is Great! We really didn't need a new roof on my daughter's house, but the insurance company was requiring it due to ""granulation"". Apparently a number of insurance companies are looking for reasons to get out of the Santa Rosa area - gee really? We got 5 estimates and went with Palmer. Herb and his crew were timely, efficient and responsive. We did have a problem with the clean up on the first day, but a discussion with Herb was all it took and the place was spotless at the end of Day Two! They removed a tube/cap that was no longer in use, patching the hole; they also removed a satellite dish that was no longer needed at no additional charge. Herb was honest (told us we didn't need a new roof for 3 to 5 years), reasonably priced and responsive to our concerns. I would highly recommend this company to anyone!

Our roof presented some unforeseen challenges for Herb as previous roof had been laid over the original roof. Herb kept us well informed throughout the process, his crew was very respectful of our home, and cleaned up after themselves very thoroughly. We appreciated the professionalism of Herb and his crew. We just got our flat roof on a house we bought last year replaced by Herb Palmer and his crew. The previous roof he was replacing was done very poorly so we were happy to have someone who was confident enough about his work that he gave us a fantastic warranty period. He was very informative of his process and what needed to be done during the entire re-roofing, giving us the opportunity to see the damage he was taking care of and explaining every step of the way what he was uncovering. On top of his excellent work he was very personable and enjoyable to talk to. It is so hard to find people who are this fantastic to do work for you- I would use them again in a heartbeat.

Herb Palmer is a true professional in his field. He shows up on time, and does what he says he is going to do. We have an old house that the last roofer made mistakes on, Herb fixed them. Gave great advice on colors of gutters, which enhanced the roof tiles. Herb treated our house like it was his, with respect. Cleaned up after he was finished, reasonably priced. I give him my highest recommendation, 5++++ stars.

We had a wonderful experience in dealing with Herb Palmer and his crew. They were clean' prompt' polite' and very diligent in getting our job done. We had a 'not so typical' quite difficult job with a tear off' added ventilation' siding to remove' new wall-roof flashing to be installed (which hadn't been properly installed originally) plywood to repair' trim boards to be added/replaced caulked painted etc. It came out perfect. No remodel looking hodgepodge mess. Herb made a suggestion to use a 40 year Malarkey roofing product and were glad that he did. Its very nice looking lite weight (made with recycled materials) and considerably more quiet in rain storms. The added ventilation (Herb's suggestion) is already helping out on warm days. Herb also suggested we tear off the old roof' and again were glad we did as we found wood rot. We cannot say enough good things about Palmer Roofing the entire experience was a pleasure. We highly recommend Herb Palmer/Palmer Roofing Company. They don't cut corners and do an excellent job.

Herb Palmer did the roof inspection on a home we were looking to buy. He was fabulous. We were only given a 10 day period for inspections and he was able to come in and write the report within three days of us calling! He thoroughly inspected it, went through all the details in person with me, then wrote up the report with pictures very quickly (and did a great job with it). We were very happy with our experience and highly recommend him.
