Company employees apparently struggle with being decent human beings. After I was cut off the employee proceeded to exit his vehicle and scream profanities before ashing his cigarette and driving off. Apparently I'm not the first person to experience this and leave a review. September 27th 1:30pm N federal hwy Paletz pickup truck. I would strongly recommend not doing business with people that can't even have a basic level of decency while representing the company.

To the idiot that cut me off today Tuesday Aug 29th on i95 North Bound near the Hollywood Blvd Exit @12:20 pm. You earned your company a 1 star review for being an idiot and a extremely bad driver. License plate starting with IDH-

There was no communication about what was happening with my flat roof because no one spoke English and the head person was never here. Did not cover my pool and got nails that left rust in it. Asked to come back to look at something I felt was missed and the guy had a major attitude.

This company came out and did roof inspections on the 52 homes in the community in which I live. Since we have used them in the past year for a different repair on the roof, we decided to go with them to fix what needed to be done to come in compliance with the association. Troy came out today and did not even have the information for the repairs that needed to be done according to the original inspection by the company. He took my husband on another walk around the house and was tapping at places that needed to be fixed. One of the places that he pointed out was actually the site that the company had done previous work for me within the years time. Wow, isn't your prior work supposed to last? Anyway, words were exchanged between the two men and Troy stormed off in an unprofessional manner. I will NEVER call this company to come do anything for me. I already have found a PROFESSIONAL ROOFER, one who can talk to people in a respectful way and not get their feelings hurt. BEWARE.....Hopefully no-one else in the community gets ripped off by them, but I am afraid some already have.

Paletz Roofing was first class throughout the entire process (from the quote to the permitting to the roof installation). Rich and the rest of the team did a fantastic job keeping us informed in a timely manner and making sure all of our needs were taken care of. Our new roof looks fantastic, I would give them 6 stars if it was an option.

Appalled by the unethical inspection performed by Paletz on our roof. Long story warning.
Paletz was part of the home inspection team on a home we were selling. We are not originally from Florida, and found it odd that separate inspectors (who are also contractors) for the roof, plumbing, electric, etc. come to a home inspection, in addition to the licensed 4 point inspector. Our realtor assured us this practice was perfectly normal in South Florida. Upon completion of the inspection, our realtor shared that the ""roof inspector"" gave our roof zero years of life, and the tiles were ""held together with some type of sealant."" We were shocked by this assessment, as we A. Only purchased our home 3 years prior and there were no issues, and B. Had the roof inspected a mere 6 months earlier for new homeowners insurance. To make matters worse, we looked back at the footage from our ring cameras, and the employee from Paletz reviewed his ""zero life"" report with the realtors and the potential buyer. He gave a rough estimate to completely replace the roof on the spot. He even said ""but you know, call my office and we'll see if we can get you a better deal.""
We immediately called our former inspector. He sent one of his lead inspectors to our home, and did not give him context on the situation, in an effort to get an unbiased opinion. His inspector came, went up on the roof, came down and said ""Why the hell am I here? There is nothing wrong with your roof"" We shared the real reason and he was appalled. He said that ""in 20+ years of doing roof inspections, he had never heard of an assessment so egregiously wrong"". He provided a clean inspection report, noting that any realtor or inspector who claimed otherwise should be reported to the Florida Department of Professional and Business Regulations.
Needless to say, the sale fell through. 2 months later, we sold our house and the roof passed through the inspection with no issues.
The job of a licensed Four Point Inspector is to be unbiased. How is that accomplished in south Florida if they bring an additional inspector who is licensed in their trade, but is also a contractor looking to make a sale/land a job? Unbelievable.
Stay away!!

We developed a leak in our roof during a major rainstorm. We contacted Paletz Roofing and the owner responded the next day which was on the weekend. He inspected the roof, located the leak and provided a very reasonable estimate for repair. Within a week his crew responded on the designated day and hour and repaired the roof.
I am a retired property manager and familiar with roofing companies. This company is one of the best I have worked with and his crew is very professional.
I was impressed with his customer service which kept us informed. Without a doubt, if I need a roofer, I will call this company.

This company is one of the best I have ever worked with. During the tear off, the crew thoroughly cleaned up after themselves. The office staff kept me up to date at every step of the process. It was easy to do business with them so I highly recommend their services.

Excellent customer service and workmanship. They communicate regularly to let you know the timing of the job (which is important in this era of delayed materials). They are punctual, thorough and highly professional. I can't recommend them enough. Shop no further if you need a roofer.

I just got a new roof put in by Paletz Roofing and Inspection. It looks great. I am happy with the end result, and the warranty. I like the fact that all of the possible additional expenses were spelled out to me, from the beginning. Other roofing companies are not so forthcoming in there quotes. Will Ventress, who handled my account, was very transparent and open in his approach, and that is appreciated. Also, the fact that much of the additional possible expenses were not even met (my flashing was still in excellent shape, as well as most of my exterior trim), means that Paletz is a very honest and trustworthy company to do business with. As an Mechanical Engineer, I tend to be a very particular individual, (as Will can attest to, I'm sure :) ), so I can state, for the record that these guys really shine when It comes to roofing. If you need a new roof, look no further. Paletz is the way to go.
