During the recent storm, I had a very significant leak coming through my bathroom. I desperately needed a new roof to resolve the problem. I received Clark's name and company, Pacific Roofing, through a neighbor who was very satisfied with the job Clark had done approximately a year ago. I contacted Clark who came out and provided me with a written quote promptly. He was able to get his crew out to tear out the old roof and install a new roof after the rains subsided. Clark and his crew were professional, knowledgable and friendly. He also installed three custom skylights that needed to be replaced. All in all, I felt that they did a superb job and the roof looks amazing! They were also thorough in cleaning up any debris from the installation. In sum, I would recommend Pacific Roofing based on my very positive experience with Clark and his crew.

Clark and his crew were amazingly-efficient, fun to watch, very polite with us and with our neighbors -- they did our roof in 2+ days, were cheerful and friendly, came up with all sorts of imaginative solutions for several old long-standing gutter-problems where we thought we had no choices. His price was mid-range -- several other bids were much higher, a few much lower -- but Clark is fully licensed and insured and very-responsible, as vs. the lower bidder-bunch, and his team was on-time every morning, took only short breaks, worked very hard, and finished the job. He's done this a long time, and he himself was on our roof every day, encouraging his team and problem-solving and lifting shingles and personally driving nails -- he was very personable and helpful, answered questions, as others here say he is very friendly and professional.

We recommend Clark Ahn and his Pacific Roofing Co. very highly.

got roofing done by these folks about a year or so ago. the reason i waited to post a review was to see how the workmanship held up.

it does.

the leaks we called them to fix got fixed. the only thing is that a couple of places where they put up the flashing is not so even because they added extra building material (not sure if it's cement or stucco) to make it work but this is minor compared the task they were hired to do--replace the roofing and fix the leaks.

my cousin's family and my mom's friend used this company after they saw our roof and no complaints on any front so overall, they do good work.

they probably aren't the cheapest you can find but they were the cheaper of the 3 quotes we got. (my mom's friend isn't poor by any means; prob more the opposite--i dunno what it is about rich folks, they like to bargain and she got the quoted price reduced.)

just an FYI: the owner's korean and his workers are latin but they all are able to understand and communicate well enough in english to get the job done.

Clark (owner) is very friendly and professional. Came to the house on time for the estimate despite me being late. Very polite and explained all the details of the work being done. Mailed me the estimate and was within the ballpark range of the other 2 companies (summit and Amko roofing) we got a quote from. We went to his office/warehouse on Revere st to inspect the parts and they were of great quality. Again, he explained his work. They are insured and have workmans comp. he has been licensed for over 20yrs.
It really boils down to how much and what type of work u want done. If u really want all out vs on a budget, every roofer can do that for u.. But u just need to compare estimates and prices. The warranty of the parts vs other roofing companies takes the cake!

The owner, Mr. Ahn, is very quiet spoken, but he does excellent work at a very reasonable price. He replaced one roof for us last year, and our other roof and gutters this year. His men arrived early and worked hard all day. The first night everything was weatherproof and the next day all the small details were finished. Everything was left clean at the end of each day. They pay attention to all the little details that could lead to a leak. They will not do a ""cheap"" job. The guarantee was for ten years, which is better than anyone else I contacted. I found the company through Bay Area Consumers' Checkbook, where they have excellent reviews.

We had our roof done by Pacific Roofing in Nov 2010 which is almost a year now. We selected this company due to the length of warranty (7 yrs vs. 5 for most others.) given and the time they have been in business. Everything checked out fine with BBB and contractor's licensing board. The price quoted was very good comparing to 4 other previous quotes that we got but we did have some communication issues in the beginning. That was resolved later. The owner was nice to allow us to visit his warehouse to check on the skylights and materials that is to be installed. The work was done timely and cleanly with no issues. (I would recommend a walk-through of the roof at the end.)
As with other consumers, we also checked Yelp's comments.
We were confused by Hava L's comment(which does not make a lot of sense.) Therefore, I wanted to input this candid review from a true customer. I have also recommended this company to friends and family. If situation changes, I will update the comments/review.

Pacific Roofing removed my old wooden roof after 65 years of it being there. They applied a new roof and copper gutter downspouts. They were very reasonable, cleaned up the area spotlessly and now I don't have to worry about a replacement roof for at least 30 years. The owners and the workers are very nice people and I would not hesitate for one minute to recommend them to others. After reading this joker Hava L.'s negative comments here, I can only say that could not have occurred with Pacific Roofing as I understand only the owner's wife takes all telephone calls. Hava L. must have confused Pacific Roofing with some other roofing company, or they must have some axe to grind..... Ed B.

A colleague recommended Pacific Roofing when I have a leak in my roof.

Pacific Roofing left the premises clean and also did not charged me for minor work (I asked them to install a chicken wire cover to the entrance to my home.)

The rate was reasonable and BBB listed no complaints for three years for this company.

After reading the first review on Yelp I called Pacific Roofing for a quote on my roof. First of all, the guy asked me if I was married, which I should have realized was a bad sign. The estimate came in the mail the next day, over $3000 more than the most outrageous quote I'd had yet. I was so disappointed.
