This is a very professional roofing company. They provided a prompt, detailed, competitive bid, and had good, clear communication. High quality, brand name materials were delivered the day before work began. The crew of 6 arrived on time and began work immediately. As we expected, they found minor dry rot in a few spots in the soffits which was replaced without difficultly. The supervisor (and I) did a very thorough inspection of the attic crawl space and we found no additional areas needing attention.

The entire operation from tear-off to cleanup was completed in one day. The work included bringing the roof vents up to the current building code. They apply for the the building permit and arrange for the county inspection. These people obviously know what they are doing and they did not try to talk me into unnecessary work or services. Highly recommended.

I just had my tar and gravel roof redone by this company and I couldn't be happier. They put down a waterproof layer and followed that with an insulating layer and topped it off with an asphalt layer. They removed 3-4 layers of tar and gravel. They filled up their truck and then finished other 1/3 the next day. They repaired all the soft spots on the roof and after they put on all the layers , you could see that the whole roof was slanted towards the drain. They also did my two light wells. They tore them down to the bare wood like the roof. They took the bottom layer of siding out and ran waterproofing up to the second siding. The finished product looks great. They also have a 96% overall quality rating in Bay Area Consumer Checkbook. The head of the crew, Clark was easy to get along with and very responsive to questions. Best of all they were very reasonably priced.

My wife and I replaced our roof using Pacific and Clark Ahn over 25 years ago (Our roof is actually four roofs - two peaked and two flat). At the time, it had started leaking and we got four bids and choose Pacific ... he was not the most expensive not the cheapest bid. He replaced the entire roof. Here we are with a roof from another century and it has never given us a problem. Plus, they were wonderful to do business with .

This review is overdue but every winter, I think of the great work that Clark did on our roof. He repaired our roof in August 2016 and he did a thorough job. We replaced our roof, shingles, 4 news skylights, and added copper drain outlets. Clark's pricing was reasonable. He was thorough during our walk through before and after the roof was replaced. He is honest and diligent. We recommended Clark to our friend this past winter and they were equally as happy.

My husband got at least four bids to do our roof, and Clark and his team easily stood out from all the rest.We had seen them working on a house just a few doors away and were impressed with their hard work, tidiness and compatibility as a team. They worked quietly and quickly and our neighbor was very pleased, in fact, she had used them before on a previous home.

Clark Ahn ,the owner, came out promptly to take a look and give us a bid and could not have been nicer; he took a good look at the roof and then explained what he would do. He made the job easy to understand and the bid arrived in our email the very next day.

The bid was very fair and it was an easy choice, but,honestly,the main reason was how pleasant it was to deal with Clark Ahn, a real gentleman.

My husband was a bit nervous about rain coming before the leak was repaired and Clark was able to fit us in in only a week.We appreciated that.

We had that unseasonal rain the night of the day they started and Clark came out around 7 pm just to check and see if everything was alright...it was fine because they had tightly covered it.

My husband was invited twice to go up on the ladder and take a look, which he did .......looked great. Clark is proud of his works as he should be !

previously did a write-up on these folks but don't know why it's not showing; in any case, this is as good a time as any to do another write-up since i can now say that it's been maybe 4 yrs from the time pacific roofing finished the job and the roof is holding up pretty good.

one comparatively small section of the job came out looking a little clunky but not immediately noticeable from most perspectives--there is some additional stucco or cement added to an edging but i guess it's better that they did what was needed to fix a potential problem instead of making something aesthetically pleasing but that would possibly break down at some point.

if i remember correctly, they're not cheap but then again, they weren't as expensive as other quotes we had.

based on my favorable experience, a relative and a friend used these folks and i've heard no complaints so far, so i guess they're good not just in this one instance but in general...

Clark Ahn came to fix my roof previously and unfortunately the job was inefficient. I asked him if he could take look at another roof. After the proposal contract, I called him multiple times, even emailed and texted, but he did not return any of my calls. Today, I called him again and he finally answered me. During the conversation, I tried to understand the job procedure and the necessary materials required. Instead of removing my old roof, he suggested to add a new layer on top of the old roof. He asked for $4k (1400 sq ft.). I was shocked that he asked for such a high cost when he was not planning to remove the old layer, but instead throwing a new layer on top. I asked him why the estimate was so high and to my shock-he became very upset. He started yelling at me non-stop and hung up out of nowhere. Initially, I thought his business was greatly appreciated, however after this instance-I won't be using his company again. It's unfortunate that business owner does not care to respect their customers. Please avoid at all cost!

I recommend Pacific Roofing highly. Clark has done a couple jobs for me. He and his crew are diligent, timely and detail-oriented. They did a good job on clean-up each day. He stands by his work. I called him to check a leak once, and he came the next day with his crew. The leak turned out to be in the siding, but he was there to stand by his work. His prices are very reasonable too. Would definitely call him again next time I need a roof.
