Carmel the receptionist was very nice
She said that Ashar would call me before the appt.
I called to reschedule, no problem there.
She did ask if he had called and I said no
Cut to day of appointment @1pm

Me: hi. Wanted to confirm site visit. (Since Ashar didn't call)
Carmel: oh he never called you? The appointment is confirmed. Let me call him to see what is going on.
Pause... Carmel never called me back and went to 1hr lunch. I had to call another number on yelp to get a hold of someone and she didn't know what was going on.

Carmel: Hi I have Ashar on the phone
Me: hi Ashar are you at the site?
Ashar: have you purchased the land yet?
Me: are you meeting me at the site today
Ashar: no... let me give you some advice...
Me: if you're not at the site. We aren't doing business together.
Ashar: ok

Very unprofessional company. I took time off of work to go for a site visit and he didn't even bother showing up. It's rude and inconsiderate. It's most likely a small operation since they didn't even have anyone to answer the phones while she was at lunch. Thank goodness I dodged this bullet.

The kitchen remodel including the fireplace went really well. Now we have a great modernized entertainment space. In fairness with this company they worked almost everyday to finish their work on time. The owner was at the house almost every day just to check on us and his workers. It's really unfortunate that we didn't end up in good terms at the end of the project due to the following. I try to be honest and fair when i make a review here as this affects livelihood of people. The outcome of the remodel was AMAZING!

The reason for the 4 star rating was because the agreed verbal and written contract were not honored . We were charged extra for putting back the lights and fan they took out. In the first meeting we were told whatever they take out they'll put back AT NO CHARGE. Additionally, the trash kit - although its part of the blueprint we were asked to pay additional. After i sent the design back to the owner, (im glad i kept the design) no response and was just notified by his assistant that he's not charging us for that ( which in the first place he should not). It took them two weeks to set up the portable potty and long time even just picking up and cleaning up.

Today i asked for the refund of the 250 that was supposed to be not charged but was told no refund will be made and that the owner does not want any referrals from us.

I would definitely recommend Pacific Green Homes. We live in vancouver and we recently bought the house LA- Simi Valley, it needed a complete kitchen and bathroom remodeling, interior paint and all the windows replaced. I have been getting quotes from alot of different companies, until i got in touch with Carmel, she sent me pictures for previous jobs they did and emails for few of their clients, so last time I was in town i scheduled a meeting with Pacific Green Homes, We met with Asher Ederi, very honest and straightforward, answered all the questions, gave us alot of options and great ideas. I like how professional he was presenting everything, he gave us an amazing price. I extended my stay in LA, Carmel took care of the permit and plans after that the crew started the job, very clean and always on time, Asher was there almost everyday to make sure everything is going well.
I am very happy i chose Pacific Green home, Thank you for everything.
