Over The Top Roofers
Company Overview
We focus on roofing and its upkeep.
We began our journey over 15 years ago, focusing on multi-family renovations, which set the stage for our growth as a top roofing company in Central Florida.
Soon after, we expanded our skills, delving into various aspects of construction renovation.
We quickly took on residential and commercial re-roofing projects, each contributing to Over The Top Roofers' reputation for dependable quality.
Currently, we are still growing, enhancing our reputation with each job, fueled by our dedication to outstanding customer service and a continually expanding roster of happy clients.
After graduating from Tampa Catholic High School in 1981, Jim Braddy spent 6 years in the U.S. Navy to kickstart his career.
Afterward, he dedicated 19 years to Delta Airlines and operated a lawn maintenance business for 22 years.
Approximately nine years back, Jim joined forces with Gregg to create Over The Top Roofers.
Jim's expertise lies in residential re-roofing, new roof builds, and repairs.

Great company to work with!!! Very organized and they do exactly what they say they are going to do. Highly recommend!

Stay away from Over the Top. Owner is rude, childish and petty. he did my roof about 6 hears ago. I had a rental house that needed a roof a couple years later so I have him a chance to bid on it. He has now Refused to ""do business with me"" because I wouldn't give him the bid on my rental property two years ago because he was over $1000 more than the competition.???He drove all the way out to my rental house last week to give me an estimate on some storm damage and then suddenly, when he saw the hous, he remembered it was me and left me a nice little voice mail saying he was taking his marbles and going home, ...meanwhile, leaving 4 nice holes in my roof from where the satelite dish was ripped off -- left me in a bad spot. He should have told me that before he went all the way out there and wasted 4 days of precious time....... I should expect more from a fellow Veteran. Disappointing!....there are MANY roofing choices out there. Don't fall for Over the Top as they are definitely near the bottom of the barrel.

From the owner who came to do the estimate, the secretaries at the office, to the roofer who was thorough and helpful, we had a wonderful experience. If you are wondering why I didn't rate it 5 stars, I have never given anyone 5 stars!

Jim Brady and his staff were very professional, courteous and a pleasure to do business with. Jim showed up, looked over the work to be done, got back to me with a price that was very reasonable. His staff and crew were in constant contact by phone/email, keeping me abreast of schedule changes when Hurricane Matthew interrupted my place in line. Over the Top Roofers had emergency jobs which took precedence and I was okay with that because if I had an emergency, I know they would be there for me as well. The tech who made the repairs spoke with me after the work was done, he was a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend them and will use them again in the future, should the need arise. Thank you Over the Top Roofers! Thank you Jim Brady!

I hired them to repair the roof on my commercial building. First let me say that I new I needed a new roof, but did not have the money for one at the moment. So they took a look at it said they could repair it and would stop the leaks until I could afford a new roof.
After the first visit it rained a few days later and it still leaked. I called, they promptly sent someone back out, and again it still leaked. So I called again and was simply told I needed a new roof, NO JOKE, I new that and so did they. I feel I wasted thousands of dollars for a repair that did not work. They had originally told me that they would come out as many times as needed to get the leak to stop. Well that didn't happen.

Had an appointment but with all the rain I asked if they could come out sooner. Got a call from Jim Brady and said he would be there after 1:15p on Thursday I was thankful Apparently he got there earlier than me Said he waited 15 minutes Impossible cause I got there at 1:26p without any notification left that he had been there. Around 1:44p I texted my cross street just in case he was having trouble getting there He then sent a text back that he waited as long as he could I wondered if he was at the right address He text back Keep covered in driveway When I text back what does that mean I figure it was becoming a drama so I text him Forget it I'll seek another roofer He text back ""Perfect. I can tell I didn't want to work w your type anyway. You call I make apt that's not good enough you beg me to come out early I call u n let you know I will b there in 30 minutes u tell me ur 5 minutes out. I knock on your door for 15 minutes. You no show. How disrespectful. My previous text was suppose to say covered jeep in driveway."" A little abusive to say the least then I remembered I have a rainbow windsock outside my house The ""type of people he was referring to became clear. Stay clear from his type of people a little explosive for a roofing appointment. Had another roofer in the next twenty minutes. Over the Top definitely over the top in nasty attitude and terrible customer service

Just tried to get a quote for this company via Web form. With no knowledge of this industry, I asked if I could get an estimate per sq.ft. I was answered quickly with just a ""We are not interested in giving approximate cost per square foot. Thank you and make it a great day,..""
Okkkk, so maybe I asked the wrong question. Is that really how a sales person answers/follows up?
So, I decided to give them the benefit of maybe I caught this person in a bas moment. I emailed back ""Thank you for your prompt reply. Forgive my ignorance. May I inquire how you quote?""
She replied in a much more professional way this time, but Jim Braddy wrote back a ""No!""
Again, I thought there's no way I can be interpreting this correct. Maybe he did a reply to all but meant to send to his secretary. Doesn't matter how uneducated or redneck a person is, he can't really be that rude... actually he can! After telling me what I needed to obtain a quote, as a business owner I thought he would appreciate a constructive input on how to follow up on web lead (normally I charge a fortune for my business consulting and this was a FreeBe) He started shouting at me ""Not Interested! not interested! not interested!"" and hung up... Bad day? stay in bed and don't answer the phone ;)
Don't you just love digital marketing (one of my expertise)... social media, review sites, etc. You can help other customers avoid having such an horrible experience! :)

Leon was very patient and worked on the problem until it was resolved.

Great professional company. They have a master level certification (or something like that) which enables the roof to be warrantied for 50 years!! They were a bit more expensive, but well worth it because they did all the little extras and I know I don't have to worry about my roof again in my lifetime! They cleaned up the site everyday with a magnet to make sure there were no nails left around. I have had to get roofs installed on two other homes in the past and this company was by far the best I've ever dealt with. I highly recommend!!
