Had a roofing company come out and give me an estimate and told me I needed a new roof called Old Fashion to get another bid and Ethan came over.. gave us a comparable bid and then told me I didn't need a new roof ..that he could make some minor repairs and I could get another 5 to 10 years out of my roof...it was refreshing to have someone honest....so they made the repairs and I couldn't be happier about the money I saved ....I can't say enough good things about Billy and Ethan at Old Fashion Roofing..

Called Billy and company to get a quote and they were quite a bit cheaper than my old roofer I had used and recommended for years. ( I'm a Real Estate broker) A family run business that tore off the old roof and had a protective layer down in one day! They installed a very nice high quality roof Borel light weight tile. Plus they added a button system and additional layer of product designed to make the roof even more efficient energy wise. Billy Snow owner is hands on stopping by often to insure the job is going well and asking if I had any issues or concerns. Finished product is awesome. I live in a sort of upscale area of Fletcher Hills and have had several neighbors comment on how classy and nice the new roof is and who did it. I can't recommend Billy and company enough!!

Billy Ray and Ethan provided a fair quote and clearly know roofing. Some other quotes we received, did not include the ""cool-roof"" required in my area (Jamul) and the amber resistant vents. Old fashion roofing gave me the best quote with the correct materials. The work was done within 4 days and they cleaned up after themselves. I already referred him to my friends!!

Billy Snow is a real pleasure to work with. Its apparent that he cares about his work quality, he's professional, and he is very reasonably priced. It seems it's a good time to be a roofer right now.... we had several roofers flat out tell us our repair work was either too small of a project and they weren't interested, or they had an outrageous minimum fee for a repair visit. Billy was busy like the others, but he worked with us to fit in time slots for two different repairs. Super nice guy, and we'll definitely call him again for our next roofing job. It says a lot when a contractor treats you with respect and gives you the time of day, even if it's a smaller job.

Billy Ray Snow was referred to me by another roofer who couldn't do my roof because it was too steep (10:12). Billy Ray's quote was very reasonable. They did the job on time, cleaned up after themselves, added some roof vents, replaced all the metal, including drip edge. Very professional job and attitude of all the workers was great. I would use them again.

Our roof was getting up there in years and we were going to go solar, so we decided to get a new roof first. Some of our friends recommended Old Fashioned roofing and we couldn't be happier. Everyone involved was very friendly and they do excellent work. The roof looks so good it's almost a shame to cover it with solar panels now.

Billy the owner is an honest down to earth guy. Very personable, his estimate was the lowest I received, but I went with them because I had a positive experience with the estimate. He is not an estimator who shows up in a suit and gets a commission from the sale. He is the guy who makes sure your roof is perfect. Once I made my decision they scheduled my job. I couldn't decide Roof color so Billy came out again and reviewed my options again. Even with all the rain this year, his crew showed up as scheduled and began tearing off old roof. Every day they cleaned up very well so house looked nice during work. It misted and rained all week but his polite, friendly crew came and finished the job ahead of schedule. (They didn't work when actually raining). His guys worked extremely fast and were cheerful. Billy stopped by at least once or twice daily to make sure things were going well. When finished he met the city inspector and my roof passed with flying colors. I LOVE my tidy clean leakproof roof! And before I had only two ""whirlybirds"" to vent hot air, they put in 10 brand new, low profile sleek hot air vents - a huge improvement!

I was referred to old fashioned roofing by a friend, after an extensive and painful search for a roofing company to reroof my house with quality product, and a reasonable price. From my first contact with Billy, everything went smoothly. I got an estimate quickly, and the job was scheduled quickly as well. I am very pleased with the quality of work as well as how fast it was completed. Billy did an excellent job of keeping in close contact with me throughout the project, and always responded quickly to any emails with questions I had. I love our new roof, it looks so much better than it did before, and I'm excited to have the cool shingles to help keep at my house more temperature regulated.
