We contacted Ohana Construction for an estimate for a new roof on our home. We actually had 7 different companies come out and present their bids. My husband being an engineer by trade and is now retired devoted an entire month to choosing the right company to replace our roof.

You are probably wondering why 7 different companies. The reason is that our roof was not an easy job and we knew it was complicated and would require the right company to do the job right and to my husbands approval. We had a tile roof that was not in good shape and part of the roof had wood under the tile and part of it did not. We had skylights to contend with and attic fans also.

It was our good fortune that Ohana Construction sent Dave Pozzi to look at our roof and give an estimate. Out of the 7 different companies, Ohana was in the running regarding the price. But what sold us on Ohana was their willingness to work with us on different aspects. The crew arrived on the designated day and they were all very professional, courteous and happy while they work. And they worked hard. Dave was right there on the job every day, overseeing, running to get additional needed items and making sure we were pleased with the progress.

The follow-up was also impressive. There were a couple things that my husband questioned and Dave was right there and answered his questions and made sure we were happy with the finished product.

We highly recommend Ohana Construction and be sure to ask for Dave Pozzi. He will make sure you are satisfied if you do decide to go with Ohana Construction.

Me and my wife chose Ohana from an ad that we saw through FB and was interested in making a claim towards our roof damages through our insurance. Although our insurance company Dongbu was super squirrelly and denied our claim we chose to proceed with cash. Tanden Hayes was the estimator and he gave us a fair and decent price. It took them almost 3 days to complete the roof and we were pleased with the outcome. In my opinion I hear other people's roof getting completed faster but why rush the process if you know they're taking their time to do a good and thorough job. They staged their materials on the roof prior to the start date so that we could have complete access without tripping over anything. I'd definitely recommend Ohana to anyone with roofing issues just because I was able to see the process of the whole thing from beginning to end and the quality of workmanship performed. Tanden was flexible with a payment plan and answered all our questions fast (even on Sundays). I probably could've gotten a better deal someplace else but I might've gotten what I paid for and wouldn't have sat well with it. After all it is a roof and trust me it ain't cheap. If I could do it over again Ohana would be my go to guys. Thanks for all your help Tanden this was an awesome experience with no regrets..... Syd and Nisa

I asked them to come out and provide an estimate to repair my roof for wind damage. They told me that the they were busy and my job was too small for them to dedicate resources to. However, they provided some advice that gave me the confidence I needed to complete the repair myself. I appreciate their honesty and helpfulness.

I replaced the damaged shingle today for less than $60 in tools and materials thanks to Ohana.

Requested a quote in the am and Mr Elton Dubois arrived mid afternoon. What a nice young man. Very professional and honest. Called because it appears we have a leak and at the same time considered a new roof. Elton related that our roof is still in remarkably good condition and should not be replaced. Furthermore it appears as though the heave rain on April 13 came sideways and may have gotten up under the shingle. If a leak reoccures then call him back. Ohana roofing is Highly recommended.

1) Excellent online presence. Response to email/text is almost instant.
2) Excellent quality of work. I don't know much about roofing, but I can see my roof everyday I leave/come home from work. Neighbors have complemented it.
3) Very competitive pricing. They're not the cheapest quote I got, but we're comparing apples/oranges here. The roofing material is never going to be the same between roofers.
4) Speed: They finished the roof in ONE day.
5) Follow up: Damage to a screen door was addressed.

Chris at Ohana roofing was great to work with. He help with the insurance company claim and completed the reroof in one day. Ohana roofing cleaned up the property carefully before they left that day.

Chris came over and inspected my roof and told me about how my insurance company would cover my roof since it had wind damage to it. Chris made the process easy. Ohana roofing ensured the quote was accurate and delivered what was promised in the time quoted.
