When you first meet Joe, you will think he is professional. Don't be fooled. He left me
with damaged wood and tar on my house and said he would come back, but didn't.
He replaced the flat roof over my front porch and now it is leaking because he failed
to do it properly. Originally, the city of Orlando inspector signed off on the permit and
I called the city to ask why the inspector signed off on it. They called Joe and he told
them he would come back. I don't believe him. He always said he was coming to ""resolve""
issues and never showed up or called. He was supposed to do a wind mitigation report
for my insurance co. He did not take the required pictures. When the insurance co. called
him he said he forgot and he would ""do it tomorrow"". He never did.
Do not trust this person. I don't know why some of his reviews are so good. It must
be that he chooses to do a good job for some people and leaves others with
many problems. That proves that he is inconsistent. It's like the difference between
a good and bad restaurant. One day you go and the food is delicious. The following
week you go back and order the same thing and you are unable to eat it.

Nightmare scenario. Do not go with this company in my opinion. The guy seems incredibly genuine and sincere and I talked to him many times over the course of the months of time we were preparing for the work, I was waiting for work to get done. It took a long time to get the documentation done, but initially everything seemed legit, went and got the permit on his own accord. But then the only time I ever saw him was when I gave him the first draw check. And then after that it was just excuse after excuse for not coming out to do the work. Had to go days, weeks, and months nervously trying to ask about progress. Going back and forth about getting a refund, or how he could find labor to do the work. It was only by the grace of god and possibly a good contract that we were able to get a refund back. But even though we eventually did get a refund back, after a period of about five months since giving him the check, it's still costing us a lot of money because the work wasn't done in a certain period of time that it was supposed to be done.

Can't vouch for their work, some of their work in the pictures looks like they did a good job. But I did find out their BBB rating for ""Ocean Roofing of Florida, LLC"" was an F with 4 complaints and 1 bad review, at the time of writing. I only wish I had found this out earlier.

I needed a new porch roof that extended over my storage room. They had to tear it off and install the new one. Also a new carport. I requested a heavier one since this was my 3rd one in a year I had replaced. Plus I wanted my driveway widened. They did the whole job in 3 days. I was shocked. Cleaned everything up. Didn't hurt my plants around my porch. I'm impressed. Thank you Joe!
