We signed a renovation contract with NuTech in 7/2018 and paid about 1/3 of the total contract price to initiate the project. NuTech said they need that large deposit to purchase the materials. They said it will be done in 4 weeks and after almost 3 months, it was still incomplete. We called them hundreds of times and they keep saying they will come out and finish the job, then another week will go by and they started to give different excuses for not showing up to do the work. They lied and said that they purchased the supplies but it's in their warehouse and will bring it to the property when it's time to install. All we've gotten is some demo, sheetrock and paint work and have not seen materials that were supposed to be purchased. I think they finally started to run out of excuses to give the countless number of people that they've defrauded and closed the business and stopped answering calls. Come to find out that they 'closed' NuTech Roofing so it seems like that business has gone bust. NuTech's president, Chris M., set up another company under Statewide Marketing, LLC to defraud more innocent people. He serves as Executive Director of this new company and is working under a different contractor's license. You would think that the new company is a Marketing company but it is a roofing and construction company. I've reported them to the FL Construction Liscening Board, BBB and the state as should others that have been defruaded by NuTech.

Terrible company!!! Pls Dont get this roofer. They will get your money & wont come back to do their job unless you will call them a million times. This happened to us, that we were scared that they will run away but if Not of our million calls they will Not do it till after almost 4 mos of taking our money. Then they did Not pay their supplier that our house was placed on lien by the supplier. Their shld be a law that the roofers company shld be the one to be put on lien if due to non payment on their fault! They promised us to repay us since out of our pocket we pay the supplier to get away from the lien But up to this time, All were promises to repay us. We thought this is a scam as if they can get away of Not paying their supply then they cld do it to everyone. This company if they want to be better & really cares for their customers, No promises shld be made and they would obliged to do what they are obliged to do and repay! They had caused us, a good customer a much heartache and trouble from April to up to this date of 2018. BBB was contacted too & still unresolved! Our mistake, NOT reading the review! This company need to be CLOSED!

This company should not be doing any work for any one! They do not finish there work. An what work they did do is not any good at all! they put a floor down in my home and in one week it is coming up ant my dog is getting splitters in his feet! I call all of the phone numbers I have for them and they will not answer. I call there old number and left a message some one call me back when they heard who it was they hang up and had the phone disconnected! I am in proses of trying to get my 15000 dollars back and sew them for the vet bills. This has been going on for four years. I can not let any one come over because they will get heart. So if there is any one that need a roof or any work dune to there home from Michel or ant hearken I tell you if you do not want any more tubule do not have nutech roofing and construction do any thing for you. If you did get you money back now!

This is the WORST company I have ever dealt with!!! I would not let them put a roof on a dog house. I started the process in Sept of 2017. Now it's Sept 2018, and I am still dealing with them. They took my insurance money, and it took them 5 months to put the roof on. The roof they put on leaks. They will not call me back. I have called them over 100 times. They say next week, every week. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with these crooks!!!!! They have lied time, and time again. They do not know how to put a roof on. I had a wind mitigation inspector fail the roof. He said it was not up to code. Nutech took my deposit, never did any repairs to my roof, and has refused to return the deposit.

If you have already given Nutech a down payment and they have not started work, please look into Florida Statute 489.126. It says that a contractor must meet specific timelines in a construction project after taking a deposit. If these timelines are not met, they are guilty of theft. The statute also provides means for establishing intent to defraud.

Nutech has allegedly not been paying their suppliers for some time, as evidenced by multiple lawsuits against them for unpaid material bills (Pinellas County public records). Given this, anyone who has used Nutech in the past couple years should seek legal advice, as your suppliers and/or subcontractors may not have been paid. In that case, you could find yourself with a lien on your house and having to pay again.

I don't thin 1 is even acceptable. Total scam. They walk subdivisions in the evening looking for roof damage and ask you to make a claim from a storm date. They get their money and do not stand behind the warranty. Call insurance commission and department of business and professional regulation to complain. So much damage to my home from a poor quality job and unethical company ( if it's even a company). I have got the the run around for months from Christian ( the owner ) now I'm informed the "" president "" of the company will call me.. ok what's the hold up and the website gives more false ratings and an image of a structured business. DO NOT TRUST THEM!

I contacted this company after a friend that I work with used them and they did a marvelous job by looking at the photos of his completed roof. Well that did not happen at my house, the initial contract and signing of work agreement took place on June 6, and promised that the work would begin on July 31st (first lie) well that day came and went, along with all the others when I called and complained that they need more workers, a project manager told me they had (4) 10 men crews and that they can do a roof in 3 days max. (Second lie)
My roof did not get started until 9-5-17 just days before a major hurricane was to hit Florida, I even question their ability to get it done in time with this storm coming. (Third of many more to come lies) Well the re nailing of the roof failed as the crew was overdriving the nails and half of them were not even hitting the truss, first failed inspection just a day after they started to work. The guy running the crew (Jose) got mad that he was busted on doing it wrong and walked off the job. I later found out he told his boss (David) that I threw him off the job. Really I am going to tell a roofing crew to stop working on my roof when a major storm is coming and that they could just leave it uncovered and not come back. (best lie ever, and the fact that David believed him and did not call me back to confirm story). Well they send Jose back to 'dry' the roof in so that they can start on it in the morning (Friday), it rained that Thursday night and surprise the roof was pouring water into my house in three areas . (Note to company, don't send your best guy you have, that just got failed for an inspection back to fix his sloppy work, he is mad and going to show me who's boss) So no one (Jose's crew) showed up on Friday to work on the roof. So to make a huge long story short, This has been going on for more than 2 months trying to get a roof re nailed correctly from (4) failed inspections, of which (3) are red tags. I have repeatedly been promised that the roof will get done and all interior damage fixed. They have to tear the first installed roof off and redo all the structural damage that was done by them (Jose) by over nailing, overdriving, the nails and that half of the nails didn't even hit a truss. I had a structural engineer look at the roof both on top and underneath to assess the damage and even he said that this was the worst he has ever seen any roof done in his life. Plus just by looking at all the missed nails, he said the calculations would not support the 130mph wind velocity we have in the area of the State that I am in. So in other words if we only get a 100mph wind, my roof would come off. I am still being promised that the roof will get done and all the drywall that has fallen from my ceilings in my living room, kitchen and patio will be fixed (I don't believe anything they say anymore) we are now going into 3 months of empty promises and more crazy stories worthy of an episode on Seinfeld. In the meantime the roof has constantly leaked water into my living areas whenever it rains. If you are smart run away from this company as fast as you can otherwise you're going to have more damage done to your house that they will have to fix. The worst part of all this is that Jose has done hundreds of roofs and you know mine is not the only one that he screws up. He was just caught on mine because we have a great building department in Plant City. Can you image all the other housed that did not get a proper inspection done, what's going to happen to their roof when another hurricane comes that is above 100 mph. Poor families won't know any better and will have to get a new roof again. So if you know that Jose did your roof you might want to get a licensed home inspection done on the roof to prove to your insurance carrier that it is up to code. I know mine is not and the building inspector is going to hold them to doing it right. Be afraid of any work done by this company is up to code.
