Nushake recently completed installing a new roof and downspouts and the whole process could not have gone any better! My rep Mark Littlefield and Nushakes bid was also substantially lower than the other 3 bids I received for the same shingles. The tear down and install of the new roof took only 3 days, a separate crew came out a week later to install the new gutters and leaf guards. No fuss, no mess, no headaches! Could not be happier with the whole process! Thanks Mark & Nushake Roofing!!

This is the worst example of how to run a business!!! Was given a time line on my contact... Nushake did not deliver on any of their promises!!!
Roof was torn off and crew laid plywood and paper I Thought I was going to be good. Two weeks went by with no crew coming out to put on new roof. At this point my insulation was not blown in. Crew came cut a hole in the plywood tore the paper and blew in the insulation. I was given two separate dates in which crews did not show up whatsoever. The first time I was not even called and told that no crew is coming,after I waited and took the day off of work. Second date that I was given; I was called midway through the day and was told the crew quit and they were not showing up. Spoke to the general manager on several occasions and was repeatedly told that my roof is going to be done the following day. I told the company I was going on vacation and I did not want the roof to be done while I was on vacation I wanted it to be done before I left. I left on vacation and roof Was still not put on. After returning from vacation I saw That they had installed the roof. It is unknown whether all of the paper that was torn was repaired or replaced. unknown if I will ever have water damage or seepage due to improper repair of the paper. In my opinion I would never ever ever ever ever use nushake as a contractor. I've tried on a couple of occasions to get in contact with the owner and was not allowed to speak with the owner and was given excuse after excuse why I could not get in contact with him or why the owner could not get in contact with me. This company is very unprofessional in my opinion. And to top it off after I had paid them the entire amount I owed them for the repair of the roof they still tried to send me an additional bill of over $2000. Absolutely ridiculous!

Needed roof leak fixed. They came by did a repair and it leaked again. Called them back and they did another repair and it leaked again so bad it destroyed the inside walls sheet rock. I called them back, and they sent a boss Jerry Garcia looked at all the damage and He told me they would come back and repair the roof and take care of everything. Said they had the same problem in Sacramento. Never came back. Called every month and they said they would come back. Never have. It's been 8 months now.Please never use these liars. I'm going to sue for the first time in my life.Sad!!!!

We recently had a roof put on by NuShake Roofing. We had gotten several estimates but called NuShake after observing their work on 2 houses in our neighborhood. I was impressed by the job they did on the house behind me and talked to the guy in charge of the roof and was impressed by his knowledge. NuShake's estimate was fair for the market and we needed a complete tear off. The workers were all neat, courteous, and competent. Several of them have worked for the company for over 10 years! They carefully picked up all debris each day and after the job was completed left over supplies were stacked neatly on the side of the house and picked up later. I am very happy with our new roof and have received complements on how nice it looks! I would recommend NuShake to anyone needing a new roof. Ken Williams

NuShake from Ripon, Ca started my re-roof the last week of June 2017. I also was purchasing only a few gutters(3-4) in an area of my house that for some reason did not have them.
Guess what? The tear off crew tore off ALL my gutters...yes ALL of them. I wasn't purchasing all new gutters, just 3-4 gutters.
Next, a two man crew came and started laying the boards down on the roof, and when they were done for the day, they left a big pile of scrap wood with other garbage in my driveway. I called and asked for it to be picked up, but no one came, and the trash stayed there ALL WEEKEND until I called AGAIN, and they finally came out several days later. Next thing we find out is that one of the workers MAJORLY mishandled my persimmons tree. It looks like he shoved a huge branch down without any regard to this fruit tree, and damaged a major branch that WAS full of persimmons. This SAME worker who broke a huge persimmons branch, also cut a wire on the house that controlled my sprinkler system. He did all of this and didn't say anything. I found out when I requested a different worker to finish my roof. I immediately contacted the manager Cecil, and he apologized but never offered any compensation for any of the damages/issues; The trash, the tree, the broken wires etc.
Guess what? When the roof was finally completed they left trash AGAIN in front of my house near my sons bedroom window. It stayed there for 2 weeks before anyone picked it up, after numerous requests.
Finally after texting back & forth with Cecil it seemed as though I would probably be getting all new gutters at no cost to make up for the damages & issues. I was happy and content to be made whole plus not have to pay for those few gutters after all.
Guess what? I DIDN'T get the gutters at a discount or at 'no cost' or a courteousness for the damages or issues. Even though I was led to believe this from the Cecil the manager the entire time in vague text messages such as ' I agree' 'I approve' etc..when I mentioned not paying for the 3-4 gutters. Instead in the end I was sent a bill in the mail every 3 days to pay for those 3-4 gutters.
Yes! Every couple a days there was a bill for those 3-4 gutters for $600.00. in my mail box. I feel misled by Cecil, but paid the $600.00 since I was under contract.
So your probably wondering how the roof turned out? Well...the roof looked okay, except there was an obvious inconsistent line going left to right.
Finally, I asked to have someone come look at the inconsistent line on my roof, and someone finally came out on August 14th. This person cut/trimmed the shingles in question. The line went away, but there are still a few odd looking shingles in that area where he trimmed.
So, would I use or recommend NuShake? After making me pay $600.00 for those 3-4 gutters after the damages? NO!!!! Plus, my roof has flaws and I pray I have no leaks =((

Tear Off crew showed up when scheduled and did a great job. The first dry rot repair guys did an amazing job. The other work crews had no communication but did their job. The drain and gutter crew were awesome. Final cleanup left something to be desired. Overall the scheduling needed more oversight as there were some unnecessary delays. Instead of 3-5 business days, the reroofing took 2 weeks. However, the finished product is exactly what I wanted and looks great.

Three stars is not representative of the labor thus far, it's for that feeling of being Nickeled and Dimed to a depleted budget! Was given a bid, and told I would get a 3% discount for cash (but sales guy offered talk to owner and ask for 5% because this is the 4th roof these guys have installed for me (different houses). When I committed, and finally got to the shop to make my $1k deposit, and was told there was a (3%) surcharge for credit cards!! In my opinion, this makes a 6% difference in what I thought I was committing to (no 3% discount off quote & and additional 3% for not paying cash!) I feel schnookered, and have already warned a friend that asked for a referral not to trust the bid if he gets one from them. Now, halfway through the project, just before putting the last side of plywood down, the job is being quoted for Dry Rot (legit but late) But was also told the facia board is not included in the quote! Uhrgggg! Thinking I should've sucked it up and used Drummond - higher quote, but all inclusive for the job needed (dry rot extra, of course). Not really liking the change in business strategy....

We recently had our roof and gutters removed and replaced. The job was done professionally and the crews cleaned up every day. We found NuShake to be competitive and well worth the money.

Called three separate times asking them to come out for a simple roof repair. Some shingles has fallen off but the roof was still in good shape. Just needed a simple repair. They refused to even come out and look.
