I bought a 100 yr old investment home in Dallas. The home needed a full roof replacement and some under shingle boards and rafters to be changed. I took 3 bids, Zico at NuRoofing gave the most competitive bid.
His team did the work promptly, One day for rafters and boards and next day the roof work was complete. He used 30 yr shingles and has performed a good job. This is his second job with me. In the first one, he replaced the roof on my primary home in Frisco, 3 years ago after a hail.

I recommend having him work for on your roof.

DO NOT USE THIS SHYSTER COMPANY!!!

Owner Zico McBeen is a shyster and a fraud. Take note the last two good reviews (the ONLY good reviews) are both dated the same exact date 3/12/2020 which incidentally is the same exact date NuRoofing has decided to post responses to previous bad reviews one of which was posted almost a year and a half ago.

I can not convey enough that this isn't a roofing company, there isn't any staff except Zico and his wife. He's a good talker upfront but everything will be an uphill battle from there. It's almost as if he gets day helpers off a corner to work for the moment. He touts being in business 8 years, then states everyone left him bad reviews because starting a new business I should know how it is, only the complainers leave reviews. He told me the yelp reviews are for a year, I had to point out to him his Yelp reviews were far older than a year.

Further this is directly from the BBB website: In June 2019, BBB opened an investigation into Nu Roofing after several consumer complaints alleged issues with the company's workmanship, warranty and completion of promised work. As part of BBB's investigation, a review of the customer reviews filed were evaluated. BBB found that some of the reviews were made by owner of Nu Roofing along with his spouse. Additionally, BBB found that all but one positive review were posted from the same IP address.

We used NuRoofing after we had a leak in our closet. They came out within 24 hours and did the repair, along with setting up having someone paint the stained ceiling once the repair was fixed. They were professional, fast, and easy to communicate with. We didn't have any further leaks once the repair was completed.

When we moved recently, the inspector commented on the repair and said our roofing company did an excellent job patching it up. We will absolutely use NuRoofing again in the future for any roofing or gutter issues.

Nu Roofing did a fantastic job on my roof in November of 2019. Mr. McBean explained to me the roofing in full detail. He answered any questions or concerns. We have had numerous rain storms since the installation and haven't had any problems or leaks. I am really satisfied with my new roof.

I took the time to read some of the reviews and I must say I do not share the same experience and I find the owner to be very professional Mr. McBean was a real stand up guy and very professional whenever we had any conversation and regarding the work done on my house the work was done in good time and done well. I had another roofer review the work for me. I gave this review 4 stars because I think that maybe Mr. McBean can take the time to make sure his workers are actually doing the job he is paying them to do because in his defense he does not do the manual work his employees do. I will definitely keep my eyes open for any leaks. I have not seen any yet.

Zico did my roofing to back in November last week my air-conditioner guy came out to do his yearly inspection and found out that the roofers when putting shingles on nailed into my freon line in my attic now who's at fault here? I just want to write this review to send a message that somebody from nu roofing needs to make it right and fix my repair I should not have to pay out-of-pocket to fix their mess up Zico at nu roofing you have my information you know how to call me thank you have a nice day.

NuRoofing STOLE our money!! We put a down payment of $4,921.38 and Zico McBean took it and ran. NEVER did any work!! He won't give us back our money!!! Never deal with him. Barely any communication.

This company is not worth doing business. After giving me the run around, I told him I no longer need his service and requested a refund. After much back and forth, I was told a refund would be given. I was sent an insufficient funds check for less than half with assurance the rest would be sent the following week. I don't have another check and the check I was given will not clear. I'm owed over $6000.00. Close the door on him should he come knocking

You can't answer calls or emails from all the people that is complaining. Don't use this company. Look all the bad reviews from people who use this company on 2016 and you will see. It's matter of time and he will not answer your calls and close the complain on BBB without your concern.

Do not trust this company. They will rip you off, they will forge your signature, they will make claims without your authorization. Zico McBean is a fraud!!!
