FOLLOW-UP from earlier review.
With the first big rain a small problem was discovered.
Water channel diverted run-off water over gutter and directly over back door.
Call Nunnery who promptly and efficiently fix the minor issue.

I continue to be happy with their work and am enjoying positive comments and complements from neighbors and friends.

Update on original review: Just received an email from Kevin Nunnery but got a warning from my computer not to open because it could damage my computer! I asked on the original contract that he also replace an access stair to my attic in the hallway. When he presented the contract it was not mentioned at all but; he assured me he would install another attic stair and never did. I brought it up to him numerous times but it wasn't in writing. So I never got it. Six years later I'm so soured on Sumter area contractors I never hire them anymore. I guess being an elderly woman doesn't help.

We thank Rodney for coming out and discussing the project with us, and making some suggestions to guide us through this daunting prospect. We were impressed that, after we met with Rodney late on Friday afternoon, on Monday in the mail, we received the quote for the work to be done, along with a copy of the company business license and the company standing with the Better Business Bureau. We had other bids, but no-one did that for us. The company was most impressive; thank you for that. We thank you for assigning such a great crew to do the ""hands on"" work; they were outstanding. Rolando answered our questions, and explained what was happening as the job progressed, which was a real comfort to us. We want to thank Kevin for stopping by to check on the progression of work.

The Nunnery/Espitia crew tore off the old roof on Wednesday, November 4th and returned Friday, November 6th to put on the new roof. (A little lag time was expected for material availability due to current COVID-19 challenges.) The job was finished late on Friday evening, and over the weekend, my husband had a couple of concerns that arose, and so he gave Rolando a call on Sunday afternoon and on Monday, Rolando had his crew back out here to the house and they worked together to resolve those concerns.

We cannot express how happy we are with our experience with Nunnery Roofing and Remodelling and Espitia Roofing! We cannot thank you all enough, and we will certainly be telling folks about you all.

This is the worst roofing company! DO NOT USE! I can't overstate that! You'll be sorry! We hired them to replace our tin roof. It took 6 months for completion. One year later, weve had at leadt 5 leaks. Finally, my husband called another localroifer and he showed us what the problems were. At the peak of the roof, nunnery didnt put it on properly and didn't seal it so the wibd wouldn't blow in under it. Also, none of the edges are sealed and none of the fireplace or stove pipe were sealed or caulked. As a result, we have to have the entire roof redone. Fortunately, they are able to use the same materials except for the peak. But this is going to double the cost of the roof. This is ridiculous! ! Anyone choosing to use them is warned!! Even businesses!! They will lie to your face, take your money and screw you. DO NOT USE!!!
