There is one word that sums up my experience working with NRG Pros: outstanding. I have known that I needed a roof for a long time and have put it off for as long as possible, but over the last year I'd started to see dry rot under eaves and shingles lifting along the edges of my house. I called many companies to get bids. NRG Pros wasn't the cheapest, but they were priced reasonably, and Jesse (one of the owners) assured me that the price wouldn't change. He absolutely stuck to his word, even though my home had a little more dry rot than we could tell during the bid. The team got started on my roof and WOW did they work fast! Eric was assigned to the job and I can't even begin to express how pleased I was with him. Every day he was here to check on the work, and at the end of each day, Eric would call with a progress update. I shared that I had some other work to do in my house, and Eric shared information for a local tradesmen he's had great experiences working with. My house had an ""interesting"" tube coming out of the roof for the tankless water heater, so we agreed to wait until after the roof passed inspection to have the tube painted. The roof passed with flying colors, and the city inspector couldn't help but geek out on how great the team did on my roof (noticing the clean lines and attention to detail in areas many other roofers miss). After the inspector left, Eric himself, came out to finish the final tasks (on a Saturday), painting the tube and even rehanging a piece of flashing that was functional but he didn't feel was perfect. That level of perfection is what I want in someone working on my home... Someone who cares about the job looking good and being done right as much as me. James, another member of the team, also helped with a vent pipe that we realized we needed to add for a bathroom exhaust fan, not only was he extremely respectful, but he took his time and triple checked the work to be sure it was placed for our needs and liking. Without a doubt, this team is proud of the job they do and it shows in their work. If you need a roof or roof work, I HIGHLY recommend NRG Pros for the job.

The prior owner of my home put up a roof over the porch and did a horrible job. NRG gave me a quote about 40% less than another contractor and was able to get out the next day to start work. This was a flat roof job and they got it done in 2 days. They also added extra 2""x4""'s for more support for free.

Fantastic communication, an organized and hardworking team, and a job well done. My new roof looks beautiful, and the whole process was as smooth as could be. I wish it would rain more in Sacramento so I could enjoy the pitter patters and feel the satisfaction of knowing my home and everything inside are safe and dry. I recommend giving NRG Pros a call if you're looking to give your roof some care. You will be in good hands.

I went through NRG Pros based off the good reviews they had. Started off with Robert who came to do a presentation on what was to be expected. Great presentation, great customer service and ultimately because of this, we were sold! Communication started off great other than they were supposed to come on a Monday and never showed up. No one had told me they were not going to show up, however they did come by the following Wednesday as promised and were able to finish in time as promised right before a big storm, so I am thankful for that! Ultimately, the guys appear to have done a great job! They were there first thing in the morning and took a full 2 days to complete. I am not a roof inspector myself or have much knowledge about anything roof related but I assume everything was done adequately and replaced as needed as part of my estimate agreement, as my house is 100 years old, so I imagine if not, I would definitely know within the next couple of years if corners were cut. Just want to put this out there, as the City did not even inspect the roof before passing it! And I know this because I have cameras all around the house, and the inspector did not even go on the ladder or look around the perimeter of the home so I have to put my faith into this company. But I trust that everything was done well, it looks great and I feel so good knowing that they were able to schedule me quickly before a major storm.

My one and only complaint would be how the ladder was left for the inspector. My roof was completed on a Friday, meaning this ladder would sit there until end of business day Monday. 3 days with a ladder in my driveway that is not tied down with a storm occurring over the weekend with high winds- major liability for me. I communicated that I was going to move the ladder. This was not an issue, as I was told that that was no problem and it was understood and they stated that someone will come out and tie it down in another location. About an hour later, I get a phone call from the VP, Eric, about me moving the ladder. I had to repeat myself 3x that I was told that the issue was being taken care of. What was even the point of the phone call? His tone, demeanor was essentially condescending and insincere. It was apparent that he was upset about the inconvenience of having to have one of his workers come out to fix the ladder, as he stated that he would now have to have his worker come ""all the way"" from Sacramento. He was also seemingly more concerned about his ""ladder getting stolen"" than my vehicles or essentially the safety issue as he expressed his concerns about his ladder. We literally went back and forth. So there I was apologizing for inconveniencing them. Again, the facts are the ladder was not tied down, would sit there for 3 days with a storm? I was not going to risk it. $20k job and I am the one apologizing. It was disappointing. All in all, I would still recommend this company because of Robert who made the process smooth and was very attentive. Below are pictures of before and after tie down. Easy fix to just move the ladder 8 feet away.

UPDATE 12/15/21 The owner, Ron reached out to me earlier this morning and I had missed his call. He then reached out later in the day, which I found very responsive and attentive. Ron took the time to address my review in its entirety, remaining solution focused and seemingly from a genuine place. He apologized on behalf of his VP and remained professional and had great customer service, which is most important to me. I assured him that we are currently satisfied with the job of the roof and that we still would recommend this company to our friends/family/co workers. The fact that he took the time to converse with me as long as he did about my issue with the interaction I had is something I value. I felt understood and heard. Thank you, Ron!

I just love my new forever roof and new gutters. Robert came to my house and explained everything in detail about my new roof and gutters. He answered all my questions. The process of getting my new roof was so easy. I highly reccomend NRG-PROs! I am so happy I found them on Yelp which saved me a lot time.

Ron and his crew did an amazing job on our roof! They were quick with the initial estimate and got us on the books fast! With the rainy season coming (and we are hoping to a lot of rain) we were thankful. We received calls several times throughout the process to update us which was amazing. They cleaned up daily and even took our direct dish for disposal. Thank you NRG the roof looks great!
