We are a family-owned business rooted in the community operated by Mike Norwood. Mike, who hails from Texas, initiated his roofing career within the family business. He later transitioned to work as an adjuster and file examiner in the insurance sector. After acquiring extensive knowledge in the insurance field, and handling countless claims throughout the U.S., Mike returned to the roofing industry to establish ""Norwood Roofing Systems"". Having lived in the DFW area his entire life.
His knowledge of both insurance and roofing has served his customers well. Mike is hands-on in the business. He pays meticulous attention to detail in every project. As an owner-operator, Mike is present on-site for every job possible. Mike has instilled a philosophy within the company... it’s preferable to take the time to do a quality job than to hurry and deliver subpar work.

Dennis H.I found Norwood Roofing Systems through a good friend who always does a thorough job of vetting contractors. Mike Norwood did my friends house who couldn't say enough about the fantastic job Mike did. Mike met with my daughter and son-in-law and me and explained exactly what he would be doing and the timeframe. We had a lower bid, but the manager with the other company did not seem as knowledgeable as Mike, so we decided to go with Norwood even though it costs a little more. Best decision we ever made, they were fantastic! The job was more difficult than normal since the house was built in 1963 and had the original shiplap decking which had to be replaced. Each board had to be removed separately and there turned out to be two layers of felt. This didn't phase Mike, they just took care of business. To net it out, we recommend Norwood Roofing Systems to everyone we know. They were outstanding, did exactly what they said they would do in the time they said.
