We are a family-owned business rooted in the community managed by Mike Norwood. A Texan by birth, Mike started his roofing journey in the family business. He moved on to become an adjuster and file examiner in the insurance industry. With a wealth of knowledge in the insurance industry, and managing thousands of claims across the U.S., Mike returned to roofing to found ""Norwood Roofing Systems"". Mike has been a resident of the DFW area for many years.
His knowledge of both insurance and roofing has served his customers well. He is actively involved in the business. He pays meticulous attention to detail in every project. As an owner-operator, Mike is present on-site for every job possible. Dennis H.I found Norwood Roofing Systems through a good friend who always does a thorough job of vetting contractors. Mike Norwood did my friends house who couldn't say enough about the fantastic job Mike did. Mike met with my daughter and son-in-law and me and explained exactly what he would be doing and the timeframe. We had a lower bid, but the manager with the other company did not seem as knowledgeable as Mike, so we decided to go with Norwood even though it costs a little more. Best decision we ever made, they were fantastic! The job was more difficult than normal since the house was built in 1963 and had the original shiplap decking which had to be replaced. Each board had to be removed separately and there turned out to be two layers of felt. This didn't phase Mike, they just took care of business. To net it out, we recommend Norwood Roofing Systems to everyone we know. They were outstanding, did exactly what they said they would do in the time they said.

He helped us with our roof and was by far the most thorough and trustworthy Roofing Professional I have ever had the pleasure of hiring. Mike not only walked my roof to see what the issues were, he took pictures, he took his time, he made sure that he saw and got everything he came out there for. Then he came down, went over all the pictures, what the problems were and WHY. Then he made sure that I was informed of everything along the way and that we were on the same page.
