I got quotes from multiple places and Northgate was the most competitive. They were able to get the job done in a couple days, and they did an EXCELLENT job. My neighbors were impressed with how nice my roof looks now. I highly recommend reaching out to Patrick, he's friendly, helpful, and he does a great job. Thanks so much!

Replacing the roof on a steep hillside only accessible by a long stairway was extra hard work. Pat Newman's crew was the best! Super nice guys, quiet, polite, hard workers! They kept the job site clean every day, protected all the plants and the finished job was perfect and beautiful . Couldn't have asked for a better bunch of guys to get the job done.

Patrick Newman, owner of Northgate Roofing, removed.....without our knowledge or permission, a 4 by 25 foot section of slate roofing from our roof and took it away. We have photos showing the slate was in perfect condition. Our contract with Newman specified that he was not to touch the slate in any way. Our contract was for replacement of the flat, tar and gravel roof....not the slate, mansard roof. The police department and the D.A.'s office both verified that we had been victimized by Newman. By the way, he couldn't even correctly replace the flat, tar and gravel roof. It leaked like a sieve after his so called ""replacement"". Slate is very expensive...fortunately, our insurance is covering the loss of the slate, as well as the damage to our home caused by his failure to provide an adequate roof after being paid in full.

Patrick Newman is the guy to go to as the owner of Northgate Roofing. Had a great experience getting a new roof with his company. His crew did a fantastic job and cleaned up at the end of each day All this at a very competitive price!!!

The most kind and professional guys and that's even before they provided the best roof job I've ever seen!

Patrick Newman and his efficient, hard working crew banged out a beautiful roof for my home in just four days. This was not just any roof, either... it had been patched and was quite old! They all were polite, cleaned up everything and worked so hard and so quick. I think Lightning speed and Super Heroes! As the Sun stretched her arms out this past Monday, after such a long and rainy, cold spell, she brought these guys with her warmth ~ TRULY carrying Spring to my rooftop! God Bless!

I just had my roof installed by Patrick and his guys and I am glad I choose him to do the job.
Great price , precision and respect of time. The roof not only look beautiful but completely ready for a lot of long raining season.Thank you guys

I recently had to replace my Eichler roof. These people did a great job. They were there on time each and everyday and stayed all day!! The workers are very professional and polite. The owner, Pat Newman, was very informative and attentive.
I have a new roof and can't wait till it rains!!!!!!

A piece of my ridge vent blew off in the recent wind storm here in Marin. A small job that I figured would be hard to get someone out to fix, but one that needed to happen before the rains came. I emailed Northgate Roofing with the problem, and heard back the same day from Pat who said they were working in my area the next day and could most likely fit me in. Well, Pat and his team showed up the next morning, re-installed the section of vent, replaced other missing shingles and best of all only charged me $100. When I need a new roof (which may be sooner than I'd like since my house was built in 1990), I will most definitely have Pat and his guys do the work.

Pat and his crew installed my roof 8 years ago. At that time I was impressed with not only the bid, but the fact that they did the job exactly as described and on time. In addition to that, he replaced wood that had dry rot, along with repairing and replacing some gutters and header boards that were too old to last much longer, and he still stuck to his original bid. Frankly I would have gladly paid him more since I know that untill you tear the old one off, it's impossible to know exactly what is underneath. Pat gave me a 40 year warranty on a handshake, I didn't think much of it at the time....
Recently I notice that I had a few panels that were loose on the one corner of my house that recieves extreme wind in the early winder storms. So extreme that my next door nieghbors roof actually came off in the same place a few years back. I called Pat and told him about it. Two days later those panels were replaced and reinforced against future abuse. Pat called me after to tell me it was all fixed and I was ready for winter. He didn't ask for a penny.
I went with Northgate originally because the bid simply blew the rest out of the water, not the usual ""Marin Gouge"". I had no idea of what to expect, however, and frankly didn't expect much. What a pleasant surprise...In this day and age, someone who's word actually means something.
This may sound crazy, but I'm actually looking forward to the first winter storm!
