These folks just completed a new roof on my 4000 ft.² house. Working with them was a pleasure. Their crews began at 730 sharp and stay till 530; once till 730 when it looked like rain. The roof is beautiful. The work was done on time and on budget.
I have frankly never worked with a construction crew that was so clearly pleased to be working for this company and who had so much fun cleaning up at the end of each day. The bid was reasonable, not cheap but the quality was superb. I will probably not need them again since there is a 50 year warranty on this roof but I would recommend them as highly as possible to anyone who wants a fine, professional job. Honestly, they do not come any better.

NPR just finished my roof and they did a fantastic job. Mark gave me a thorough estimate and carefully explained each part of it. NPR started on my roof exactly when they said they would. The roofing team was very professional and they were done in no time at all. I definitely recommend them.

I had gotten quotes from a few different local roofers prior to contacting Northern Pacific Roofing, as my house is in Windsor and I believe they are based out of Marin. I was after the Certainteed product line, specifically, and none of them were certified through Certainteed for their 50-year manufacturer warranty.

Through a Google search and some Yelp reviews I found NPR, which have gone through the process of being certified through not only Certainteed, but also GAF and Owens Corning. I thought to myself, ""clearly if they go through the effort and expense of getting certified from all the top manufacturers, their work must be good"".

I called and left a message for Patrick, who called me back the next day and came out to take a look at my house. Within two days of calling I had the quote in my hand. Since they do a lot of work down in Marin and the Bay Area, coupled with the fact that they had the certs the other local roofers did not, I was expecting it to be quite a bit higher. However, upon reviewing the quote I found them to be comparable. They were a bit higher than all the others, specifically on the gutters, but Patrick and the owner were willing to make a concession to come a bit closer to the other bids in order to get the job. I booked a date a week later...

The crew was professional and worked hard. There was hardly any banter, as they all knew exactly what needed to be done and you could tell they set deadlines and stuck to them. They found some dry rot and made sure to quote me before they replaced anything. Despite the dry rot repairs they still managed to complete the job on time.

One of the gutter guys must have stepped in some caulking and got it all over my patio. Patrick had his guy come back out the next day to clean it all at no charge.

The roof is beautiful and I couldn't be happier. Time will tell if it leaks (if we ever get another rainy winter) but I'd be surprised if it did. If it does, I'm sure NPR will be out to make it right in a timely fashion...plus, if any damage occurs Certainteed will cover the replacement costs due to the warranty and going through a certified roofer.

I highly recommend NPR.

OMG! Mark really knows how to follow up. We had a leaky skylight, which of course no one knew until that horrible storm in December. I called every roofer on Yelp, Mark came at 8:30 at night in the pouring rain, tarped the area and called me when the rain stopped with his estimate for repair. Not as bad as I expected, and good not to have a cold indoor shower,.

supposed to replace a skylight that is under warranty and has not been done yet... it is now almost 4 months later... they just don't get back to you especially when they have done the initial work...

Loved working with this contractor!! I called to get a quote on one of our projects in the area. Patrick came out took some measurements then we talked about the different types of solutions available our old roof. I received my bid the next day and we scheduled the work. Everything turn out on time and on budget!! You can't go wrong choosing these guys to do your roof work.

Northern Pacific Roofing was the best experience I have ever had with a ""contractor"". Not only did they respond right away, they really helped me understand the options available for a new roof, what I was paying for and why I was paying for it. I got 3 estimates and although theirs was not the lowest I felt I would get the most for my money using Northern Pacific. The team on site during the roofing installation was so polite and clean. They picked up and even fixed a couple of things for me. I liked them so much I recommended them to my neighbor down the street who also had the same experience as I did. Thank goodness I went for quality instead of price, the return on investment with the new roof is high. I got my money back because I was able to sell my home for $30m more than I would have without a new roof. I highly recommend Northern Pacific Roofing for all roofing needs.

I love our new roof. We had Patrick do the bid, and his is awesome! He told us which tiles he would recommend and which quality of tiles he would recommend and then he made an extra trip to bring us samples of the tiles so we could make sure they were what we wanted. (by the way he recommended the thinnest (least expensive) tiles for our roof, because in our case it didn't make sense to go thicker.) He came out one day, and bid the next day.

Barry was head supervisor on our roof. He asked the right questions and made sure that I was clear on what needed to be replaced above the quote. He was extremely good at communicating with me.

The workers were excellent! No one enjoys having a crew of people pounding on ones roof, but they were fast, organized, friendly, and extremely clean. They were here four days (I have a very steep Tudor roof and I had them waterproof etc 45 solar stanchions and fix a dormer etc), every night they cleaned up completely.

I didn't get quotes from other roofers because I was so impressed with Patrick, so I don't know whether they were cheaper or more expensive than others. But I do know that they do excellent quality work, and in roofing this is very important. We had just spent the last 9 years calling out various roofers to fix what was supposed to be a 30 year roof, this won't be a problem with Northern Pacific Roofing.

Unreliable. Unprofessional. The owner of Northern Pacific Roofing looked at my roof and discussed how he would replace gutters. He stated he would email his estimate. Twenty days later, I have still not received an estimate or a reply from Northern Pacific. Has not replied to the two phone messages I left with his answering service. No response to my two email either.. Very unprofessional.
