Pro's- they were cheap compared to the other bids, could start quickly and finished fast (2 days vs. the other bids of 7 days). Cons- The actual job was an ordeal. Their work/customer service was unprofessional from beginning to end. Here was our experience. Their slick salesman promised a bunch of rebates (lie). After the job when I followed up, he became super hostile and then went MIA. My beam cracked and I had to insist they wait until it was repaired- they admitted later I was right to fix it. Their foreman is the worst. He mouthed off to us and demanded money on the spot even though we had paid the office. He also had an old bid with a higher price so he was actually demanding too much money compared to what he owed. The guy should not ever talk to customers- he acts like he's straight out of prison. The right hand doesn't know what the left was doing. Half way during the job, I noticed one of their workers was on my roof with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth! Forget my house burning down, I don't want to get sued because some idiot smoking on top of my house falls off my roof. Each step of the way there are apologies. After the 10th mistake, ""I'm sorry"" doesn't cut it. Would not use them again- it wasn't worth the hassle.

They came by and gave me a roof inspection with estimates and it was done quickly. While I did not meet them personally I will likely use them to repair my roof.

When I contacted Northbay Roofing & Gutter Company to ask for a quote on a couple of roof gutters that needed repair, they were responsive, efficient, and the work they did was terrific! I am the office manager at a solar company, and we had two clients need repair work done on their roof gutters in one week. I spoke with Michelle who got us a quote the same day, then scheduled the work right away when we approved the quotes. Both clients were very impressed, and one of them even kept Northbay's card for future roof work. We also kept this company's contact information to refer to clients because we were so impressed with their operations, communications, and follow up. Thanks, Northbay!

These people get FIRST PRIZE FOR GOUGING THE PUBLIC!!! I noticed my gutters were not draining propelrly when it rained the other day and phoned to get a quote...they want $450.00 to clean out the gutter. Talk about taking advantage of the rainy winter!!!!

Well upon checking with other people providing the same service I was quoted prices from $120 - $150 and that was for a 2 story home. I have had it done and am quite satisfied. The charge fit the service. If you believe $450 is a fair price to clean gutters then you should not mind the general public knowning it. I can't imagine t $450 for cleaning gutters 15 years ago would be even more shocking than it is now.

Never got to the stage where they cleaned my gutters as the process of getting a quote and a confirmed time to clean my gutters was too long and painful. Lots of promises to call me back and schedule a time but they kept dropping the ball. When I finally did get them on the phone (it took three times) they offered me a scheduled date 8 weeks out (2/3 of the way through the rainy season). Not much help.

I called Northbay for an emergency repair and they agreed to come out that day for a $950 fee. I was desperate so I said okay. After not hearing back from them I called back to get a status update and was told that they were so busy it would have to wait until they could schedule it in two days, in the meantime they sent a proposal that I would have to sign before they could put me on the schedule. Their proposal was that they would show up and fix the roof ""weather permitting"" and that if they could not fix it they would throw a tarp up as a temporary fix and come back later and fix it for an additional cost. And if they did repair the roof, they would not warranty their work. The proposal invited questions so I called and asked if it were raining when they got here was I going to get a tarp for $950 and that's it and they said ""yes, that's the deal"". I told them no thanks but thanks for wasting my time
and that I would write a review on yelp, here it is, buyer beware, this company wants their cake and eat it too.

Not even 1 star, more like a half of a star. I called them to give me an estimate on having my gutters cleaned, they were supposed to call me back and never called. I called them though, only to get their answering machine during their business hours.

We called them for an estimate on a small gutter replacement job; I know this is their busy season but the woman who took my call agreed to schedule us in a week out. Gave me the guys name and details. He never showed. I called 1/2 hour later and left her message that we need to reschedule. She NEVER called me back - very unprofessional.
Have to agree with Beal T. I guess they don't need my business.

Nice folks, overall. And, they really took their time getting someone out to do an estimate. They must be doing all right. Clearly don't need my business. Besides, the estimates were $3000 over others and they did not evaluate the specifics I required.

We got a roof inspection from these guys for $250 and then were sent a totally BS report which had little resemblance to what the guy told us in person. This company owes us for only adding confusion. Incredibly disappointed. The only thing which was accurate were the few pictures the guy took. Give me a break.
