The roofers did a good job as far as they got, then they ran out of shingles, leaving a large exposed area on the north side. This was on Friday, Sept 1, 2017. Tried to call the Logistics manager on Sat. Sept 2 and his phone was off. My voice mail went unanswered. Finally got him on the phone yesterday, Sept.5 and he brought some shingles to the house. The office crew was apparently oblivious to what was going on. I would not recommend this company to anyone. This company has not answered my complaint to the BBB.

The only thing that is good about this company is they can put a roof on your house. If you are expecting good customer service or good coordination or follow-through, look for another company. They promised the roof construction would begin on a Friday. The dumpster was delivered on Thursday evening as expected. They couldn't get the permits on Friday so they scrapped starting and rescheduled for Monday (they day before a holiday) even though I suggested waiting until Wednesday. The dumpster company pulled the dumpster on Monday morning, breaking and scratching our concrete driveway, even though they were starting construction. It took US to notify the company that there was no dumpster, the crew started throwing stuff all over the yard until the new dumpster arrived (which further damaged our driveway). The roof was finished in a day, as promised. After the crew left, my husband walked around the house and found many nails and a broken beer bottle in the neighbor's yard. We informed the company and they said they would be out Wednesday to clean up, they weren't. We have dogs so this could have meant vet bills. We were promised that our satellite television would be back by Monday; nope, not until late Wednesday evening. My husband reported all of this to the company and we were promised a gift card for our troubles and that he would look over the driveway and see if there was anything they could do; well, I am still waiting for either to happen.

I contracted them to re-roof my home and replace all of the rotten facia wood. Other than slinging some of the old shingles in my pool, they did a good job on the shingles install but did a horrible job on the facia portion of the job. They replaced wood in some places but reused partially rotten pieces in several other areas and skipped over other rotten boards entirely. My job was initially ""completed"" in September 2015 and I immediately complained to them and provided pics and was told they would send their crew back out to correct the problem areas but no one ever showed up. I paid them half up front and was to pay them the other half upon completion so I am still holding their money until they complete the job.
I have been going round and round with them and they have made several promises to come out but nothing yet. They told me they were going to file a lien on my house if I don't resolve soon but I advised that I am the one waiting on them to show up and finish the job.
In November, the office manager said she would have the owner call me to discuss but he hasn't contacted me either and every time I call them now, the secretary says the owner and manager are not available and I have yet to receive a return call from either.
I chose North Florida Roofing because of the on-line reviews (they were not the lowest bid) but I am sorry I did. They may know how to install shingles but they have no carpentry skills. If they didn't know how to do the facia work, they should've told me before contracting to do it.

I contracted to have my roof replaced in August of 2014. The job was ""completed"" in December of that year. I am still trying to resolve recurrent leak issues, and to have a ceiling crack (that occurred as a result of said issues) repaired. I've had workers show up (without appointments) when I was not home, not show up when there was an appointment and show up after a repair to fix what had just been done. One guy showed up to fix the ceiling. He took a picture of it, then got on the roof and started re-sealing a skylight that was not leaking. I asked about the ceiling. He said he had to come back the next day to fix that. He never came. That was three days ago. I'm still trying to get someone to call me back.-

Although this company didn't give me the lowest bid for a new roof, I hired them because they were able to give me a better warranty than the other two roofing companies I had received bids from. The work is now done and my new roof looks good, the workers worked hard and did a good job cleaning up after, but why three stars instead of five you may ask? Well, this companies down fall is COMMUNICATION or lack thereof. Within the company and with the customer, it is very much lacking. Two weeks after signing the contract I had to call them to find out when they were starting, they didn't pick up the dump trailer when they were suppose to, so it sat in my driveway two days more until I called them. They didn't show up on the day they were to finish my roof and no one called to tell me why? They showed up the next day while I was at work. Also when I signed the contract, I specifically specified that I wanted one clearly speaking and understanding English person on my property when the roof was being done. That was not the case. They had one female on site who spoke very broken English and understood it less, so any time she wanted to tell me some thing or I her, it was more like playing charades than talking.
I did make the company aware of the communication issues and hope they make the changes that need to be made to give better service not just in their product.
