Very dissatisfied with service. Requested contractor to give estimate on roof. He was 2 hours late. Once assessment was made. He indicated that he would send estimate in two days. That was never forwarded. So I contacted the contractor and he never returned my phone call. I called the office a couple times and the secretaries made excuses for the contractor and I still have not received a phone call. I took time out of my work schedule to meet up with this contractor and this is how a customer gets treated

I called this place back in January because i had a leak in my dining room from the storm. I kept calling back for updates and they kept telling me that they were pushing me up to the top. Finally 3/22 they come out. It was 2 guys, one barely spoke and the other was a bit young. I told him that I thought maybe the issue was our upstairs balcony but I'm not sure. I'm no roofer. 4 minutes later they knock on my door to tell me that my roof was fine and it was indeed my balcony. The guys never walked into my house, there's only one way to access the balcony and that's through the upstairs bedroom. They just assumed.... Anyways I was like do you know of any other companies that might fix balconies. Kid blew me off, and that was that.

Then today, a week later I'm sent an invoice for $395. I call and I'm assume i'm dealing with the owner but he tells me I'm being billed for the minimum regardless of the fact that they could not do the work. I was like yes there's a minimum for actual work done. Then he says something to the effect of what do you think, we go out for free?! I told him I wasn't paying for services that were not done and I've never heard of anyone doing that. I also told him he could take me to court, look I'm 8 months pregnant with twins, now is not the time to try and get one on over me.

Definitely be aware, find a more reputable company. Also by the lack of yelps here I can see that customer service is not their strong suit.

I called to get help with my roof because the storm took part of it off, I had water coming in my house. They said they were extremely busy but could come get someone out that day at least to tarp it, there were bigger emergencies than mine so I understood. I was told all they needed from me was to sign the work order they would email to me, it took 5 hrs to get the email it was 6:00 pm so what good was that going to do me? I even called a couple hours after I first talked to them but never received a call back. I wrote them off because the next day I had someone else coming to take care of it.

A week later I got a call saying they could come over and take a look and give me an estimate, I was already annoyed with them and tried to brush him off but he almost insisted I let him come give me an estimate so I just agreed to appease him. He came over and got on the roof and said he'd have something for me in a couple days, I never received anything. About a week later I got another call from someone saying he wanted to schedule a time to come give me an estimate and look at the roof. What!?? I told him someone already did that and never got back to me, wasted my time. After sounding confused he said that my info was passed to him because the other guy was too busy. Okay, but didn't he give you the info??? He again said he wanted to come take a look so he could give me some numbers, but I said no thanks because they've been nothing but trouble and done nothing but waste my time.

I understand that every roofer is busy trying to help everyone who had damage from the storm but that's just ridiculous.

Not worth the trouble or your time!! I just had water pouring from my ceiling is all because they never got back to me and were no help.

Nor-Cal Roofing completed a roof for me on a 7 unit apartment complex. Work was performed as proposal had outlined. When any unforeseen issues came up.( As they always do) . They were handled to the standard that I expect with any job or project I undertake. But seems hard to find unfortunately. However, working with Joe Garcia I was so impressed with the constant updates of what was happening on the job, scheduling and most importantly the quality of materials and workmanship. It can be challenging enough for a homeowner to be living through a project but when you are several hundred miles away having someone you trust take care of a very expensive job is more than appreciated. I would highly recommend Nor-Cal Roofing and if I should need work done on any other project I am so pleased that I have someone to call.
