I got bids from 3 different contractors, and I went with Nolanco because their bid included details on better materials and better strategies for dealing with some of the problem areas in my complicated roof.

I just walked my completed roof, and the results are outstanding. Areas that have leaked in the past now look like you could dam them up and go for a swim, with top quality materials and metal sheeting in strategic areas to guide the water off the roof. While the bid they gave included the better paper, better TPO, and longer warranties, they went above and beyond what they specified, with extremely well done additional details designed to address the oddities of my roof, all at no additional cost over the initial bid.

Nolanco showed up as scheduled, and they worked all day every day until the job was done.

I asked Nolanco for a top quality roof, and for barely more than the other ""no-frills"" bidders they totally over-delivered.

I realize that all decent roofing contractors are crazy busy right now after all the heavy rains we've had, but I've called these people two days in a row and their voicemail box was full both days, couldn't leave a message. Yesterday I tried reaching them at their website and was informed it wasn't working. Very frustrating!

Can't you at least empty your voicemail box? I give up.

Tom Rucker from Nolanco has resolved the issue stated in my previous review. They have delivered the estimate as promised and my client is considering having the work performed by Nolanco Roofing.

Nolan did our roof in connection with getting solar panels installed. They were great. On time, contentious, complete and reasonably priced. There was one issue that came up afterwards (not Jeremiah's fault - poor roof design from long ago) and they took care of that asap. Easy to work with and LOCAL!

(Odd thing....I left a review when to job was done in January 2016 and it seems to have disappeared.)

Review revision 9/18/16. Since my initial review Tom and I connected after some delays and communication technical difficulties which resulted in him not showing up. We rescheduled his estimate. I wasn't home at the time he came by but my wife indicated that he was courteous, conscientious, and professional in his demeanor. At the time of this revised review, we're still in the down-select process to pick a roofer but wanted to update the review based on the new info.

I initially reached out to Tom because of the high percentage of favorable reviews. Unfortunately I don't have a favorable review to add because at the agreed upon appointment we made (8/26/16) for him to provide an estimate on my patio cover repair, he was a no-show and did not call. I understand that things happen but in this day and age of cell phones, texting, etc., that's an unacceptable combination. Thanks to Yelp these types of events get documented for the benefit of all.

We were moving into the area from out of town and needed a new roof on our new home - Jeremiah was great coordinating the install in parallel with the move In addition, quoting and coordinating the job from out of town was smooth and the install itself was great - Jeremiah was always willing to explain anything. Highly recommended.

Jeremiah and his crew came out put on a new roof on my 90 year old craftsman, after the storms the last couple weeks, my sturdy little house should last 90 more. I truely feel confident I picked the right company. I have had zero problems with my new roof, it's attractive and quality built. Great company, great service and great work. Can't beat that! Jeremiah and his crew did a great job on my new comp shingle roof at a very reasonable rate. I would use them again for sure. If you need a roof repaired or replaced in San Diego, look no further than Nolanco.

Thought I needed a new roof since it was old and there was a leak. So I called Nolanco again (and to see if the first great experience was not just an anomaly). Jeremiah discussed options for extending the roof life and fixing the leak rather than just installing a new roof. Awesome, honest service.

How about some praise for a company that says what they are going to do and then over-delivers! I needed a roof repair, their guy was here, assessed the situation, quoted me a price and had a crew her within the week. Of course by the time I noticed damage, much more damage had occurred to the trusses, etc. Took care of all the things and I am the proud owner of a much improved roofing solution.
