I contacted Igor for a quote regarding installing copper gutters and downspouts. He was punctual, had a great sense of humor, and was the only person who knew what he was talking about out of a handful of other contractors I've met with. He was also knowledgeable of what SF permits/requirements were as well. Corresponding with Zoe, the Relations Manager, was an absolute pleasure as she was lightning quick with responses and extremely organized -- if you tell her a date to contact you, for example, you can bet your stars she'll be on it to ping you timely. If you appreciate good people helping you, make sure you give Nobel Construction a call.

I hired Igor to rebuild a deck that had dryrot in a lot of places. The workmanship, however, was spotty. In some parts, I am happy with the work and am confident that it will hold up for decades. In other parts, particularly the steps, I'm not so sure. The steps are held in place by screws diagonally placed, some are already loose and they bear weight. The wood has cuts into the material, not just on some boards, but on every one that needed a special cut. A lot of the screws had missed and new holes. A lot of cuts are uneven and not flush on the sides. I just discovered there are still structural places where dryrot remains, so the core task of replacing wood with dryrot was not completed. When it was done, they left a mountain of trash for two weeks. Although they did finally clean it up well, it was not before complaints from frustrated tenants.
Igor also kept asking for payment early. Watch out for contractors that tell you not to pull a permit or say you have to do it. It's their job and protects you! Also don't forget to ask to see a contractors license up front.
After declaring the job done and leaving, there was a step loose. It was very dangerous because someone's leg could fall through. Igor didn't even know about it because he didn't show up often to check on the work. I've updated this review and increased the number of stars from 1 to 3 because the work is done. What I was mostly unhappy about was the extraordinary price he charged for the work, which would be ok for an extraordinary job. But it was far from it.

Igor did my roof and window for a fair price and good work. The work was good and was done in a timely manner. Pricing was reasonable and Igor oversaw the work himself. I would work with him again.

Igor is an honest hard working guy. I had a few other quotes before I found him. His quote saved me so much money. He noticed many things the others hadn't. His work was very professional, his experience & knowledge is excellent & he did many things without charge. His workers were also great. They cleaned everything up at the end of the job. One guy even swept up all the leaves in front of my house after that big storm hit us. Communication was easy. I could call him & check in easily. If I had to leave a message with Alla (his secretary) he would get back to me promptly to discuss whatever it was. I ended up adding a few other jobs to the project. His company is now doing a roofing job for my friend & she's very happy. I highly recommend him!

Wow what an experience, definitely one to forget, I don't think Lana and Igor know what they are doing. They replaced 2 doors in our house taking more than a week, leaving the entire backyard dirty even though they told that everything will be cleaned up. Really unprofessional.

I hired Igor at Nobel Construction to repair some leaks. On the positive side, Igor was quick to come out and take a look, and the receptionists are nice. On the negative side, Igor's crew did a really sloppy job. They missed places, and I had to point them out. Then they left a mess of debris after them, and I had to call them to come and clean up after themselves (took almost 2 weeks). Some of the leaks are now an issue again, so workmanship was sub-par as well. I will not hire them again.

I had a dire situation: In the middle of a heavy rainy season in January 2019, my tenants informed me that water was dripping from their ceiling, right below a roof deck.

I had reached out to a half dozen contractors via Yelp and from private referrals. Nobel Construction was one of the first to call back and Lana couldn't have been nicer on the phone. Igor, the owner, came out the very next day to have a look and had a crew on site the following day to take down sheetrock and diagnose the issue. By the third day, in a narrow window between the rain clouds, he had the deck sealed and a new drain installed. Since then the leak was gone, despite heavy rains for several weeks after.

This was a situation where I needed urgent attention-ripe conditions for being taken advantage of-but Nobel was professional through and through, Igor is a veteran of his craft, knew what to do, showed up as promised and delivered high quality work executed expediently. Highly recommended.

Igor was quick to respond and came up with the best solution to resolve the issue and made it a priority to have it fixed right away. The workmanship is very impressive and I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs help with their roof.

From Yelp, I requested for a quote, Igor contacted me right away and we were schedule to meet at my home at 2:30pm. 2:30pm came and he did not show up, I then messaged him again through Yelp at 2:45pm and still no response from. So, I waited until 3pm and still no show. Will not definitely do any further business with this company. Attached is my proof of conversation.
