My experience is similar to other reviewers. John came quickly to assess my roof and suggested inexpensive repairs. He seems trustworthy and competent. I will definitely call him when I need a new roof!

Came out for a roof leak. Roof was shot and needed total replacement. Was charged a few hundred bucks for caulking and told it was fixed. I am no expert but I knew that was not going to fix my problem. Foolishly I decided to believe them since they are the pros. During the next rain, I had a lot of damage from that ""fix"". It was basically raining inside the house. Also found the owner to be on the rude side when the issue was brought up. They did not own up to it.

We were having some water inside the house after another contractor did some repair work and were concerned we might need a new roof. John Nieporte came over and took a look and recommended re-flashing some sky-lights and also fixing some other issues we hadn't noticed. What could have been several thousands of dollars was fixed for a few hundred. We got a very honest assessment of the roof and what was likely wrong with no upsell. When it is finally time to replace the roof, we'll call John.

They were busy and I had to be scheduled. They came when they said. They worked safely and worked hard. I was very happy with the quality of their work. They cleaned up after each day and found issues that needed fixing. They took care of all additional items. They also paid attention to the details and painted all the roof vents.

Called on a Monday to schedule an estimate, was told someone would be calling before the end of the week to set up an appointment. The week came and went, no call. About 2weeks later, I come home to find a business card at my door. I called to find out what was going on. Turns out the owner of the company took it upon himself to clod around on the roof to his hearts delight while no one was home, without having received permission, and without having called to schedule an appointment. After communicating my displeasure, the owner responded in a very challenging tone ""Well, its already been done, so what are you gonna do about it?"" Unprofessional, unreliable, arrogant, and disrespectful... I'm still in disbelief.

The only thing negative I have to say about Nieporte roofing is that I can't give them more than five stars! I had a leak in a small rental unit and called at least six different roofers. All of them said they could not get to it until at least the end of January. The leak had come through the ceiling of the bedroom and there were pieces of drywall falling all over the floor. John the owner came and looked at the roof and said it was a rather small job (less than 1000 ft.²) and he could squeeze me in next week. This was right before over 4 inches of rain we got in Cambria so he literally saved the day! Lynn, his wife and office manager was extremely friendly and professional with a few questions I had along the way. John even came out the following week to check to see if I was satisfied with the job. I will recommend Nieporte roofing to anyone who asks.
