I have had a similar problem as others who've written here. Doug installed a new roof two years ago and we had damage and leaking due to the heavy snow thus past winter. I started to try I connect Doug in February. He ignored messages and when I finally heard from him, he was rude and told me he had no time. His demeaning attitude was beyond upsetting. We had to hire and pay another roofer to repair the damage. I don't recommend him.

Doug installed my roof 2 years ago. Its is leaking and wont return my call. Im very disappointed. BEWARE!

Doug and his crew reroofed our cabin in Truckee this summer. Doug is a really nice guy and very easy to deal with. My wife and I had lots of questions as we had never had to replace a roof in the past. Doug went out his way to make sure we were comfortable with the scope of the project...he even drove us around the neighborhood to show us different styles/types of roofs. His proposal was very thorough and the cost was competitive(no hidden costs). His crew was always professional and kept our property clean during the project. Highly recommend Nickerson Roofing.

DO NOT USE!!! They do not follow laws or building codes, and get angry when asked to do so. Owner is extremely hostile and tries to fight everyone.

Nickerson Roofing has my vote any day! I called Doug last winter after we discovered a new leak in the roof and he answered the phone when no other company would. He came out that day to help us and shovel the roof (which is a huge job) and do a repair in the freezing weather in December. We then had him out again in February to complete the work and couldn't be happier. Highly recommend!

After years f living with a less than acceptable roof, installed by a less than acceptable roofer, we decided to have a new roof installed. Through word of mouth we found Doug Nickerson. That was the best choice we could have been guided to. Doug is a pro's pro. Our job was not easy. Many angles, many pitches and a lot of problems including water caused damage. Doug evaluated the project, gave us specs and a price and, after acceptance, started the job. He was there, on the job, on a constant basis. When completed, the result was everything we could have hoped for and more. No leaks, top quality workmanship and it looks good. I would recommend Doug Nickerson in a heartbeat.
