If you need a roofer, give Mario and Son a shot. Mario and Adrian run a family business and they care about it. For us, they were prompt, professional, did a great job, and were easy to work with. Truthfully, I can't imagine that it could have gone smoother. Getting a new roof is a dirty job, but these guys ensure that everything is cleaned up every day. They even made sure that no mess got into the neighbor's yard. The other thing is that they use high quality parts, and don't cut corners. If I had to do it all over again, I'd make the same decision and hire them

OK Adrian is a very nice person I agree, nice guy, his dad .....no comment.
I have a big Victorian in Alameda, I received bids high and low and Mario & Sons was right in the middle where I tend to go, reviews were good so I proceeded.
The job started out well, how ever, they diverted and went on to another job and basically stood me up, seriously big problem ! . Nothing to do with money, I paid them on time for their work in progress payments . And then it started to rain. The workers had been using the flat top roof over my kitchen as a staging area because it was flat, they dumped the heavy roofing material rolls and destroyed the integrity of the roof over my kitchen. We had a down poor and I had water pouring in to my kitchen, it was a nightmare.
Chasing the company down for the basics that were supposed to be resolved by the roofer in the course of the job is tiresome and frustrating for a homeowner, you should not have to do this !!
I was not a happy camper.
Today when I walk down the street and look at my home I like the job that they did on my roof it was not an easy job I concede to that,, but it caused me too much grief.

I had an awesome experience working with Adrian.
I recently worked with him to fully replace a large mostly flat roof.

He was prompt in scheduling the work out and met deadlines on a big job.
I felt like Adrian was honest about what we needed to do, versus what we could wait on. He is honest and happy to explain the process to a new home owner.
In the end, we decided to do a full roof replacement.

His hard working team showed up right on time, 8am and did the whole job in two days. They were efficient, clean, and highly professional.

Adrian is a pleasure to work with. Really nice guy and an excellent communicator.
The work was a bit more than they had signed up for and they ended up replacing some rotten wood for free with no hassle whatsoever.

I would hire Adrian (Mario and son Roofing) again in a flash and highly recommend them to anyone.

Adrian, Mario and crew have been a pleasure to work with. They came when they said, kept the job area clean, worked efficiently, did a fine job, and overall we are very pleased with the new roof. The price was competitive. We used upgraded shingles which were not so much additional cost. Also, when I requested some work to take care of one issue they were 100% positive in their response and did the work right away! Great team to work with and great customer service. Plus I feel that we now have a long-term relationship and I have no doubt that if we needed some repair in the future they would stand by their guarantee

Made an appointment with Adrian for a roof inspection and estimate. I came home early from work in order to meet him. He stood me up. Left him a voicemail and sent him a text message twenty minutes after our appointment time, and he couldn't be bothered to respond to either of them. Don't bother trying to solicit business from him.

Mario Garcia and his son Adrian were just outstanding in providing us a brand new roof. Initially, Adrian gave us quotes for repairs to our leaking roof as well as a new roof. We decided on a new one and between rain days, Mario brought out a very efficient and hardworking team. In TWO DAYS, they removed our existing roof, repaired dry rot, replaced three skylights, installed the new roof with new attic vents, removed packaging, and left our property clean.
We could not recommend Mario and Son more highly. They are competitive, thorough, honest, and very nice to work with.

It is rare you find someone who keeps his word. These people keep their word and go out of their way to help you. They communicate, and never have that, I am better than you, attitude. I had leak they fixed, leak came back, they come back to work on it without argument, charging me an extra penny or making up excuses. For me at least they are great people. Rasi -Berkeley

Mario and his son, Adrian, did a wonderful job replacing my 24 year old roof and two sections of gutters. During the bidding process Adrian was very thorough in explaining what needed to be done, along with pointing out a chimney improvement that could be made to make the house/roof look better. They arrived on time and had my roof replaced within two and a half days. During the re-roofing process, Mario was present and worked along side the crew each day. The crew was friendly and efficient and showed up on time every day. They cleaned up all the debris at the end of each day and didn't leave a single nail on the ground when the job was completed. Both Mario and Adrian were honest and easy to deal with. My roof looks great, and I highly recommend them.

I cannot praise Mario and Son (aka Mario and Adrian) highly enough! They are an amazing father & son duo that have an incredible hard working crew. I had three layers on my (very old) roof, they came in on a Monday and by Friday they had scrapped all three layers, replaced all the boards with dry rot, added new plywood, all new shingles and gutter. We got to choose the shingle and gutter colors too! They worked hard, fast and cleaned up daily so our dogs could still use the backyard. I have never met such a hard working, professional company. I got bids from over 20 different companies and Mario and Son came in with the best bid. They are kind, fast, professional and I cannot compliment them enough! My roof looks amazing, my yard is safe for my dogs (no nails, shrapnel or other trash.) They even cleaned up the few pieces of roofing that fell into my neighbors side yard. My super protective dogs didn't bark at them, which shows that they only employ the best of the best. I could seriously go on and on about how amazing they all are, but you possibly stopped reading about half a novella ago....

TLDR: They are amazing, hire them NOW!!

Mario and Son Roofing did an excellent job on our roof. They provided a competitive quote, secured the permit and showed up right on time the day we scheduled. When they discovered some rot under our roof, they provided honest advice and worked with us to resolve the issue. Everything was cleanly finished. I highly recommend them if you need roof work done.
