Adding as a warning for others. We were really excited about using Next Gen Roofing for a roofing replacement. Adrian was super kind and prompt and responsive initially. He told us there was a last minute cancellation so was hoping to get started on our roof that same week. Before signing the contract and providing the deposit I looked up his license on California's license lookup website and found that it was under suspension. ""License is under suspension for failure to comply with Workers Comp. A workers´ compensation certificate or exemption statement may have been received by the Board but not yet processed."" I asked Adrian about it and he provided a story about how the board just hadn't uploaded his new workers comp insurance information, and that he would provide a written note to us stating that we were not at fault if anything were to happen during the construction. As this note wouldn't actually do anything to protect us in the occasion that something did happen, we declined the offer and asked to be scheduled at a later date so he could provide us proof of his workers comp insurance. He agreed. From then on, he completely stopped responding to messages and ignored all texts and calls. We have not heard from him since.

I previously signed a contract with another roofing company (who were great up to that point), but then would not schedule me in after numerous emails, calls and texts. It felt like I was going in circles with this other company until I got desperate and started my roofing search again. I'm so glad I found Nextgen and Adrian! I called Adrian on a Monday and he was able to come out and take a peek at our roof the same day. We proceeded to sign a contract and he was able to squeeze our roofing job on a Friday and finished Saturday - all within a span of a week!

I absolutely appreciate how efficient and honest Adrian is and he's very communicative. I highly recommend him and his company for any roofing needs. Will definitely use them again in the future!

Adrian replaced our outdated and leak-prone roof and gutter system last year, and shored up our sagging 100-year-old eaves.

He and his team were friendly, responsive, and highly knowledgeable. His pricing was competitive and In addition, they were able to preserve and restore the original look and feel of our house by moving gutters off of architectural elements and redirecting water to drain away from our foundation more efficiently.

After heavy rains last year, they were quick to make an adjustment to the angle of one of the gutters to improve flow.

I love to support small business, so I really wanted to feel good about recommending Adrian Garcia and NextGen Roofing, but alas I can not. My initial experience was good, Adrian was knowledgeable and easy to talk to and filled me with a sense of confidence and relief. In March in the big wind storm a large tree fell and punctured our roof. When he came for the estimate he promised his crew would place a tarp over the hole to protect the house until his crew would come out to fix it, they did not sighting that I took 2 days to decide to hire and didn't want to come out in the rain (it hadn't started up again yet!); he also said NextGen would help remove the tree branches/logs on the roof (they did that), repair the roof and gutters/ screens and take away all debris upon completion of the repair. He noted some damage to our gutters on the opposite side of the roof. As I said at first it was a good experience they efficiently arrived on time and fixed the roof in less than a half day! This is where the good feelings end, they only hauled away construction debris and left the branches/logs blocking walkways and the garbage area at side of the house, which is definitely a safety issue. I also noticed that the gutter screens were not replaced on the portion of the roof I can see, so I called and asked him to come check the work and fix the gutter screens and remove the tree debris, he did come and move the debris out of the way but did not haul away and replaced broken screens on the gutter I can see... Last month I was finally able to get an arborist out to remove the second tree, and have tried him a few times by phone and even sent an email about the crushed gutter and asking them to come out as promised. It has been some weeks since I last attempted communication and have yet to hear back!
So if you need a fast repair, call them, however if you want excellent service look further.

Even after receiving a preliminary estimate, we realized that we wanted to make additional changes which he happily accommodated. All the members of his crew were equally accommodating and most importantly, the workmanship and the daily clean-up couldn't have been better.
