I've been looking for a roofing contractor for the past 6months. Took many prices .....Next Door was not the most expensive nor the cheapest. But their company credentials and history far exceeded everybody else that visited. When they showed me pictures of the work trucks and the rolloff dumpster trucks they have in their yard I knew that it was legit company and they didn't hire subcontractors. I felt like I was getting what I paid for. A company that will be responsible for labor and materials. Some companies came by mentioned that they did, but had nothing to back it up. My wife and I agreed to the price because it included wood replacement as well as permit from them city.

Next Door Roofing was the first company to respond to my inquiry on Angi's List, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, that's where the positives ended.
* They showed up over an hour late to our scheduled appointment, with no heads-up
* Once they finally arrived, they refused to provide an estimate, something every other contractor had no issue doing.
* I followed up by phone to try and get a ballpark estimate, only to find they were over $2,000 more than their competitors for the same scope of work.

In the end, it felt like a complete waste of time. I expect professionalism and transparency when making a major home investment this experience offered neither.

I posted a simple project on Angi which I have already selected a contractor for. Next Door calls me 2-3 times a day asking about my project and every time they call I tell them the same thing, I've already picked someone and I'm not interested in doing anything else. The last rep to call me hung up on me in the middle of me explaining that I don't want to be contacted again. I wouldn't trust this company to change a sprinkler. They're rude and unprofessional.

I made an appointment for Saturday so my husband could be there as well. We waited and waited and no show. Finally I called and they said the driver had car problems. He never called to tell us I would never trust them to work on my roof Horrible and disappointing
