Amazing builder that helped us design and build our dream home on family property. From tearing down an outdated home, designing, and incorporating custom pieces in our new forever home, the entire process from start to finish with Tony and his team was a great experience. Dealing directly with one person, the owner, simplified the communication and kept our project on track and ahead of schedule. Tony has extensive knowledge about home construction, he took our ideas and shared with us additional options and suggestions to create a beautiful, high quality home. They use excellent contractors, the quality of work and timeliness was impressive. We are thankful we chose to have our home constructed with Nexera Builders and would refer them to anyone considering building a custom home

I am very happy with the work Nexera has provided on my home. I would recommend them to anyone needing commercial or home renovations done.

I've dealt with many bad contractors but Tony was the only one who did a good job and he saved me a few hundred thousand dollars

DO NOT CONTRACT THIS OUTFIT!!! If there is a zero star rating, that's what I would give them. I signed a contract with them to remodel 3 bathrooms and I specifically request to the owner, Tony Tsai, that I bought high end materials so I want an experienced crew to do the job correctly without any rework due to the high cost of the materials. He assured me that his team has done high end jobs, but will take additional labors so the quote will be higher, which I agreed to.
Before the job starts, to help them out, I ease the difficulty level of the scope by changing my original marble tiles in herringbone pattern to large 12x24 porcelain tiles without asking for change of price. Despite the change to basic tiling, their crew still managed to screw up so I further reduced the scope from miter cutting the corners and replacing with metal corner trims. Guess what? You think this should be simple enough for a basic tiler right? Wrong!! This time, they can't keep the grouting line uniform at 1/8"" because they have to adjust the tiles after bad cuts so the grout lines range from tiles butting up to 3/16"". On top of that, they are setting the tiles on top of the old thinset cement that they were supposed to clean up before setting the new tiles. Seems like their universal fix is to fill any bad cuts with grout, caulking or filler materials. These guys are a joke!!
Aside from the tiling workmanship, the same crew did the roughing work on plumbing and electrical which turns out to be unsafe and potential leaking and fire hazard. Incorrect piping/tubing relocations that would not fit shower/spout fixtures. They are either recessed too deep or protruded too far out without compensating for the thickness of the tiles. Even the elevation of the spout was located so low (9"" from the floor) that I can't even put a small bucket under!! They buried electrical Romex wires in the drywall instead of removing the drywall and snake it through the studs and connect to light fixtures without proper J-Boxes. Wonder where these ""electricians"" & ""plumbers"" get their licenses.
After all these screw ups, I have to watch over their shoulder on every moves and have them fix any potential hazards issues on the first 2 bathrooms (that they did at the same time). By this time, Tony decided to back out of the contract and not continue with the third bathroom without telling me and letting me on to believe that it will be scheduled after completing the first two because I demanded to have it done correctly. He then asked for the full payment of the first 2 bathrooms (which I already paid him 90%, remaining 10% at final) and offer to fix the screw ups. Since I can not afford to have them spend another 3-4 weeks to ""butchered"" the bathrooms and fix the cosmetic issues for the remaining 10% of the payment, I offer him to waive the final 10% payment and I will not take any legal action to him demanding money back for repairing the screw ups he made and also breaching the contract to complete the third bathroom, and he accepted it.
Bottom line is, Nexera is too cheap to contract/employ a crew have the skillset and tooling to do a proper job. They will shortcut every chance they get and get it done fast by making it cosmetically acceptable and move on. Their intension is to pressure you to accept as is and fix it later. I'm afraid that later will never happen! So if you want to have the job done correctly, don't use them, you'll be better off using a couple guys picked up from Home Depot as your helpers if you have some skills in home remodeling.
P.S. I have plenty of screw up pictures as references.

During the pandemic my husband and I decided to do some remodeling in our kitchen and bathroom. Nexera made the process super easy, with an efficient response time and quick quote! Often times projects like this can be a pain if you don't work with the right guys but they did an amazing job. We got timely updates and they were really informative throughout the entire process which is something I appreciate.
