completely unprofessional. said they would be here at 8. showed up at 3. no phone call or apology. when I contacted office, manager was rude and said we will just cancel project. I guess they felt like they made a bad deal. be careful of their tactics.

I will say that George and his team did an excellent job tarping my roof during the crazy rain storm that hit Los Angeles in Jan 2023 - when the leak initially continued, they came back out the next day to extend the tarp, preventing any further leaking. This is where the positive ends. After discovering that the original roofing company had a warranty, we decided to use them for our roofing repairs free of charge, only to be hit with a $2000 invoice for the tarping work. This was after being told that the cost of tarping would be around $500. Newhaus seems to be another shady company roping clients into unclear contracts during times of desperation, pushing clients to agree to larger projects, or coming back with insane charges. I'd avoid using Newhaus at all costs. If I had the money to fight these charges, I would. BBB review incoming, Newhaus!

I had a roofing leak during the recent heavy rains and called Newhaus Roofing & Construction. Chris Palyan, Project Manager, promptly scheduled a visit to the house to inspect. Chris saw the issue and the next day had a Team out to do the necessary repair on that section of the roof. Chris stayed in contact during the entire process and made sure the work was thoroughly water tested prior to my signing the completion certificate. Great to know there is a two year warranty as well. I would highly recommend Newhaus for prompt, professional, and quality work.

Newhaus did a great job with our roof. Had it done at the end of summer which was a good thing since we had a lot of rain come during the winter. Art and George were our project managers. They were very knowledgeable and easy to work with. We did experience a few issues during the job but they were pretty responsive to our concerns. We are very happy with the company and the roof.

I hired Newhaus Construction to replace the roof on my annex. They remove the old roof leaving the plywood and not covering the plywood with a tarp. They were prepared to finish the roof without getting the required permit.I stopped work and demanded that they fulfill the contract and get the permit before continuing. They still had not attempted to get the permit from the city of Camarillo when the rain storm hit and soaked that room resulting in over $30,000 in damage. The contract was signed September 16 and the storm was October 10 and all that time they never even contacted the city to start the process. It turns out that the permitting process for a small roof repair took 20 minutes at the desk in the buildings and permits department in Camarillo. The business is not accredited by the Better Business Bureau and has a C minus rating at this time.

Where oh where do I begin? Let's start from the beginning. In March 2020 our roof was leaking. We called Newhaus roofing. Like another reviewer stated they gave us a ridiculously high estimate and when we stated we wanted to get another estimate they lowered the price. It was right when Covid started and we were desperate to get our roof fixed and desperate to find anybody to work during Covid so we foolishly accepted their price. We had problems from the beginning. First, at the time they were putting the new roof on it started to rain and the rain leaked through the ceiling. The second Incident happened when they were done with the roof my husband and I went around and inspected it and there were some nails missing from some of the tiles. Third, the roofers left excess tile in our driveway after the job was completed which my husband had to move. The fourth time happened in January when we had the heavy rain. Rain leaked through to our ceiling and left a nasty stain. Then finally just this month after the heavy rain AGAIN water leaked through our roof to our ceiling in the SAME place that they ""fixed"" back in January. I texted Mike and he sent his roofers over to fix the roof but refuses to fix the water stain on our ceiling saying we need to clean out the leaves because it's the leaves causing the roof to leak. Excuse me?! I have lived in this house for 20 years and NEVER had an issue with leaves causing the roof to leak! Had the roof been installed correctly the first time I wouldn't have any water stains for them to fix! So now I will have to hire another roofing company to come and fix the ceiling stain that would have never happened had they did the roof right the first time!

You can always judge a company by how they treat their customers AFTER the job has been completed and paid for months and even years later. Obviously, Newhaus roofing is not a company that values their customers months and years after a project has been completed because my ceiling still has a water stain (see picture).

Blaming the customer for their incompetence is appalling!

Because of our experience with the incompetent workmanship of our roof I do NOT recommend this company. And if I could have given zero stars I would have!

We had a concrete tile roof needing replacement and also have solar panels. Could I find a roofer who could handle both well? I found Newhaus Roofing. I spoke with David and Vic from there. David gave me a customer reference with a similar job. She was very pleased with them. We chose them, and I'm glad we did. They did a great job. New roof looks great. Solar panels working well. Price reasonable. Hard working crew went above and beyond during a hot month! I highly recommend them.

I recently bought a home in riverside county, and needed a new roof. I took my time and did my due diligence, and after having several companies give me an estimate, I finally had someone like David from New Haus to provide me with the solutions I needed. His honesty, integrity, and professionalism stood out right from the start. David helped me remove the Solar panels and also installed them back on after the completion of the roof. My roof was completed in record time, and New Haus as a company exceeded my expectations, as they made my whole experience stress free, and most importantly remained under my initial budget. I highly recommend David and New Haus to all homeowners and future home buyers.

We worked closely with Dave and Chris very nice project managers, who told us the truth about the entire roofing process. They did a great job on the roof.
