As the owner of NewRuf.com, Mike engages in the business on a daily basis. He is a father to six children and a grandfather to four. Having grown up in dairy farming, he acquired roofing knowledge from his grandfather. After many years in Georgetown, he recently relocated to his ranch in Rockdale, where he raises white-tailed deer and Wagyu cattle. Tony P.I called and needed my roof inspected for hail damage, New Ruf was able to send someone out within 24hr. Tyler did a full and complete inspection and noted and photographed all damage. He came back out when my insurance adjuster did his inspection. I was on a time crunch so Jonathan was able too schedule me in within a week, unfortunately the day his crew re-roofed my home it was 104 degrees with high humidity, but that did not stop them from completing 99% of the job. They returned the next day to complete the remaining gutter portion. The roof looks amazing! I would hire them again
After posting we got a visit from the owner Mike Winot. He wanted to hear background of the issues and then offered to send a crew to repair the inside ceiling. A crew showed up and repaired and painted entire living & dining room, and kitchen. This was at no charge. Next they came out to inspect and repair damaged drip edge n spots that clearly needed it. They inspected and sealed or glued shingles that had some issues. Mike is the owner and he does look at reviews and if you're having issues then reach out and have a discussion with him. The reason for the four is the effort done for the ceiling and Mike staying n touch cause if it was just a section with lil communication then it would of been 2 or 3 stars. Not a 5? Perfection is the 5 and to me that's reserved for a job done exceptionally well from the get go without issues which we clearly had. We appreciate the effort to make things right for our home and will say if you have issues with New Ruf then reach out to Mike, owner, and he will review your job and do right by you based on your concerns.

Jeffrey K.I had some warped tiles. They called almost immediately to schedule for the next day. Upon inspection, my roof was fine, just needed some caulking, which they did at no cost to me. They were very professional, courteous, and efficient. They've certainly earned my business.

We very badly needed gutters, as we found the rain was impacting the side foundation of our home. After extensive search, including two different quotes from competitors we found Newruff after seeing their truck driving through our neighborhood. Justin Seybold our main contact was very responsive, patient, and diligent with his work getting gutters on our home. Unlike the other companies he broke down ALL the options we had, the pricing on each and the benefits of each option so we could select an appropriate option that worked best for us - truly great service. They put us on the calendar for an installation very quickly and the process itself was done very well. He has followed up with us to ensure that we are still happy with the gutters, and regardless we got a very good warranty added to the service and gutters as standard part of the package. First thing, the guy, Bob, that came out was very nice and professional. He got on the roof and came back saying I just needed to repair one large hole in the roof, which was why I had them come out in the first place. I had a satellite fall off the roof and knew there was an issue in that particular spot. My roof is 12 years old and I was very surprised that he only suggested fixing that one spot and found nothing else wrong. Ok, I signed up for the fix. That was August 18. I did not hear from anyone until Bob called approximately September 18 telling me the repair crew was on their way in the next hour. No heads up before that; however, they did not show up and nobody called to tell me. Sept 21 I emailed the sales manager, Jonathan, to ask what was up and got no response. I contacted Bob again two days later and he, again, told me the crew was on their way. And no show again. He did eventually tell me they were not going to show up but probably only because I grilled him about not doing it the last time. I lost track of when who was doing what and eventually somebody showed up to do the repair in the next 2 weeks or so. I then had another company come out to replace my siding and they came to me saying they found a major issue with the roof... and it was not where the repair was. They proceeded to get a roof guy out who went into my attic (which Bob had not done) and he took the attached pics. He told me there were at least two more leaks that had not been found by Newruf... and it was bad enough that the wood was deteriorated. He asked how old the roof was, I said at least 12 years old and he was shocked that anyone would try to repair a 12 year old, ""3 tab"" roof ( I don't really know what that means besides that any repairs would break all the surrounding shingles). So, I'm now replacing my roof. I told Newruf what had happened in an email and they called saying they were on the way to my house. I wasn't there but I let them in via phone because I was desperately curious what they would say. They finally got up in the attic, looked at one of the leaks and said it just needed a little caulk and the rest was fine...totally ignoring the other leak on the other side of the house because I guess they didn't want to crawl all the way into the attic. They (Jonathan and Bob) proceeded to argue with me that I did not need a new roof. I asked them how many 12 year old year roofs they had done 3+ repairs on and within a few years of be having to replace the whole thing, wasting the thousands of dollars I spent on the fixes!! They did not have an answer except to say that my roof was fine and needed minimal repair. I told them I didn't think I should pay for a repair where they missed all the other issues with the roof and their fix will be ripped off in a few weeks now anyway. Jonathan just said ""well, we did the work""...I hung up on them. How would Jonathan know my roof was fine having not even gotten up on top of it???? He barely got in the attic and proceeded to argue with me. They basically ganged up on me and bullied me. I texted Bob to let me know when they were out of the house so I could close the garage door. Bob texted me yesterday asking me to finish the completion certificate. ? Fine. I did. Hell, I guess I'll pay for it since they ""did the work"" and now I'm the dumbass out of $1300 because I didn't question Bob's initial evaluation more than I did. I did ask him if he was sure a few times and he swore it was only the obvious damage I had reported. I'm glad others had a good experience with these guys but wish I had, as well.
Rodney M.NewRuf did excellent work replacing my roof that suffered hail damage. In fact, the new roof looks better than when the original roof was new. Everything was done to my complete satisfaction. NewRuf even did some extra caulking for me that was not part of the roof job, but fixed some leaks that were out of reach and damaging a lower bathroom window. Tyler (602-245-1070) thoroughly explained what was needed and how the job was going to be accomplished. He was the liason between me and insurance company, making that process very easy. I learned quite a bit about roofing in the process because Tyler took the time to fully anwer all of my questions. I highly recommend NewRuf.
