Had a complete maintenance done on my roof. They replaced a cracked skylight, cleaned the roof, sealed it, cleaned around all vent pipes, painted the pipes, inspected and serviced around my chimneys and cleaned out the one gutter I have. They also ensured all of my vents were properly protected with grates and whatnot. I'm probably even forgetting other things they did while they were up there. Armando and his crew were professional and efficient. They even made sure to clean up all of the debris that came off the roof. I can clearly see the difference in my roof from the rest of the neighborhood.

I think in a lot of ways I have been lucky with contractors while here in Temecula. New Day Solar (http://www.newdaysolar.com) installed an amazing solar system for a great price. A Perfect View (https://aperfectviewconst.com) put up fantastic Anlin windows for an unbeatable price and Cool Air Solutions (https://coolairsolutions.com) replaced our HVAC with a wonderful Lennox system at a very fair cost. It was money well spent to work with committed craftsmen who balance integrity, great products and competitive prices. And yeah, I did a shout out for all of them because our house is vastly improved because of them.

When we looked to get an estimate for our roof (we wanted two patio skylights, a refinished surface on the patio roof, valleys cut to specification, a missing mud ball replaced, etc.) we got several bids. And I have to tell you, all very much appreciated the folks who worked with us. But Armando and Jocelyn are simply too good to pass up. I talked with Armando at length about the differences between the various roofing materials (e.g. modified bitumen, TPO, PVC), the pros and cons of each and their respective costs, as well as the long view for my particular roofing needs. He was well-versed and forthcoming and came in with a bid that was more than reasonable. The team came out and finished the work in fewer than two days and now we have a checked off another box on our to do list. And we have our roofing expert for the future.

I always encourage Yelpers to become conversant in an area where they may be spending a lot of money, and anything that has to do with your house likely falls into this category. Do your homework and ask questions. Get a lot of bids and don't be shy to haggle a bit. And check out the folks I worked with. They are all outstanding, with Armando and Jocelyn becoming the newest members of the group.

Our home inspection revealed multiple broken tiles, slipped tiles, vent cap missing, and vents with no sealant after 19 years. Not a big job but a must fix to get the roof back in shape. I got 3 estimates and no one seemed interested and their date to start the work was 6-9 weeks out along with a hefty estimate. Armando came out with a great attitude, treated this job like he was interested, and explained everything along with a 3-5 day turnaround to do it. Got a written estimate that reflected a good value but more importantly wasn't overcharging because he didn't want to do it like some other guys obviously did!! I strongly recommend New Era Roofing, I have a 2500 sq. ft. clay roof in Temecula that they pulled the tiles, re-felted the roof then replaced the tiles and installed all new flashing etc. (27 year old roof so it was needed as we found a number of issues that would have leaked shortly). From the initial estimate through completion their communications, professionalism, flexibility and quality exceeded my expectations. I got four quotes from local companies with extremely wide pricing and details, New Era had a very clear simple contract with the best details, insurance documents and extremely competitive pricing, so glad I chose New Era and I will continue to use them to monitor the roof over its life.

I was given a window between 10:00-10:30 am for an estimate. I waited until 1:30 in the afternoon no one showed up or was I even given a call so I left. Ten minutes after I left my brother calls me to tell me someone's there to look at the roof and that he never even acknowledges or apologizes for being late. He inspected the roof tells my brother he would email a quote. Well guess what? I never received an email.
