Neil's Roofing was fantastic. Neil kept in communication with me the entire time of the 2 day roof project. Not only that, he provided camera pictures of the project in progress, and the finished product at end. I highly recommend Neil's company for a roof replace. His price was quite reasonable as well.

With this weekend's rainstorm we suddenly heard dripping inside our dining room wall. The carpet became wet. We called Neil Saturday night, and by Sunday morning he was here looking at the roof. Within 15 minutes he showed us it was really a problem with the integrity of the siding, and the roof was fine. He told us how to fix the problem ourselves with screws and caulk. Then he smiled and said there was no charge and left. He will be the first we call with any roofing problem!

There was a big windstorm on Tuesday, December 30. Our neighbor's tree fell onto our roof and damaged some tiles. On Wednesday, December 31, I called another highly rated local roofing company and got their answering machine, which said they would be closed for the holidays until Monday, January 5. I didn't bother to leave a message. Instead, I called Neil's Roofing Company. I got their answering machine, which did NOT mention any holiday closure, so I left a message. I got a return call on Friday, January 2, from the owner, Neil Atterbury. He came out that same day to give me an estimate, and the estimate itself arrived in my email shortly after 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 3, with all the detail I needed to submit to my insurance company. My insurance company provided the funds via wire transfer on Monday, January 5. That same day, I emailed Neil with authorization to proceed with the work, and he ordered the replacement tiles immediately. He picked up the tiles on Friday, January 9, and performed the repair work with one assistant in less than two hours on Saturday, January 10.

Neil was friendly, personable, professional, responsive, and efficient. I would use him for roof repairs again in a heartbeat.

Just don't bother going elsewhere!

Neil put on a new roof for us a few months ago, and we couldn't be happier with the result. He is a true professional and managed the project seamlessly from start to finish. Most importantly, he communicated every detail, every step of the way via email and text. He had to fit the work into a tight timeline to avoid rain, and kept on top of that.

He works on a project like it's his own - he added needed roof vents, and took us up on the roof to explain the how and why. He even came back and patched our new gutter after our movers dented it!

To bad there wasn't a 6th star for Neils roofing! Im a local Realtor for REMAX ACCORD in Livermore so I get solicited monthly by new , old and all in between roofing contractors. I met Neil at a home inspection a while back and immediately sensed a no bs, straight shooter guy. He was knowledgeable, attentive, professional, great energy and reasonable pricing. I didn't get too excited but kept his number handy, everyone has their good days as with most contractors, consistency and good days are what I want to see long term before I make a solid vote. Well Neil has earned that with me. I've used him several times now mainly for clients home inspections and will also have him replaced my roof on one of my personal properties this spring. What you see is what you get, no non sense bids, straight to the point tells it like it is, RELIABLE, on time, every time with Neil. Hands down great roofing contractor, great guy and knows his stuff.

With all of the rain, our roof developed a leak. Called Neil's Roofing and they were at our home within the hour and fixed the leak!! Very professional and reasonable prices. I highly recommend this company...very pleased with his work.

It was a dark, stormy morning at 6am and we found a leak in a bedroom. The leak was coming through pretty fast at one of our canister lights. Not knowing anything about roofs, I immediately went to Yelp for highly rated roofing companies. Neil's Roofing was actually not the first place I called, but after not receiving a callback quickly from another roofing contractor, I called Neil's Roofing. I'm so glad that I did, too.

Neil called back fairly promptly, and we discussed my situation. After describing the symptoms, Neil provided his assessment and told me that he could be over within an hour to look at it!

He arrived, looked at the leak and in the attic. He then went up to the roof to examine the area where the leak was. Did i mention it was still raining outside? After looking around, he found two issues that required addressing on the roof. He gave me a very reasonable quote and repaired it on the spot! Everything took about an hour, at the most. At the end, we had an informative discussion on proper roof maintenance and how/where my type of roof collects debris. This was an education for me, and it wasn't a lecture of any kind, and he wasn't trying to push any of his other roof services.

Neil is honest, fair, and very knowledgeable, and I am very impressed with his integrity and customer focus. I would definitely call Neil's Roofing Company again if I have other issues with my roof.

Another glowing review for Neil's Roofing Co!

We needed to add ventilation to our roof. Neil came out to see it and explained the different options, eyebrow vents, soffit holes, turbine vents, a wired fan, or a solar powered fan. Our roof has some weird features (no fireblocking on part of the house, two separate roofs) so I was glad he saw it in person. We decided to go with Neil's suggestion of the eyebrow vents and soffit holes.

I know it wasn't a big job, but Neil gave us the same attention as if it were a big job. Neil communicated very well with us by email, explained the pluses and minuses of the different vents and provided quotes for the different vent options.

He and his workers showed up on time, worked efficiently, and cleaned up afterwards. We're very happy with the vents and our house doesn't overheat as quickly. Our roof will need replacement in about 8 years and we'll call Neil again.

I have read a number of horror stories about roofing contractors, so I am proud to recommend Neil's Roofing Company after my experience. Neil is a professional with an awesome work ethic and is thoroughly knowledgeable in all aspects of roofing and roof repair. I needed to have a number of small repairs done to my roof plus a couple of gutters needed replacing. Neil came out promptly, went through my list of items and walked the property looking at my roof for any things I might have missed. Things I thought would be major headaches turned out to be a simple fix and Neil explained in terms I could understand each fix that he proposed. He thought of a couple of ideas that I had missed and promptly sent me a quote that evening. I had totally overestimated my budget and asked that Neil proceed while I was out of town. Upon my return all of the items were complete and Neil came by and explained each of the fixes, what they had done. He provided a report on his work. Other workers I had on site commented on how well the crew had gone about their work. I would never hesitate to use Neil again and would highly recommend him to my friends.
