According to my brother, Sean and Matt were extremely professional in handling his roof replacement project. He works in construction, so I trusted his word and experienced the exact same thing as he did. I had Sean and Matt supervise the project while I was on vacation. I felt like I was taking a risk having them work on the house while I wasn't there, but I couldn't delay the work because the roof was in very bad shape. It was sagging, and I thought it might collapse. That, in addition to it severely leaking during the previous rain, made it urgent. I thought about canceling my trip but decided not to after I talked with my brother and met Matt and Sean. They left me with a good impression and promised that I was in good hands.

Communication was excellent! I was in a different time zone, and every morning when I woke up, I had a short text with updates and images of the current state of the roof. Coming home to a new roof without dealing with the headache of construction was very nice. I was skeptical that they could finish the project without any issues, but they did a wonderful job, and I will gladly recommend this company to anyone in need of roofing services.

I am writing to share my experience and gratitude working with Nearby Roofing and Sean in particular. This has been a short and sweet ride. I had Sean and the company team repair my roof. At first, I thought my roof needed replacing because it's 25 years old. However, during the initial roof inspection, Sean said that while 25 years is old for a shingle roof, it is not the case for tile. This was a major difference in price and timing, which was great! Sean and his team were fast and thorough. I am extremely pleased with the services and quality of work they delivered. Everything went smoothly and better than expected. I'm really glad I didn't end up replacing the roof, which would have cost a fortune. It's rare to find good service people, but Nearby Roofing are the best of the best.

This review is well deserved. Sean and Matt have been nothing less than amazing to deal with. I hired Nearby Roofing to replace my roof. Sean and Matt met with my partner and gave us a couple of quotes with different material options. This all started with a major leak, so we also had them do some drywall repair in the interior of the house. I was happy to know that they offer both services. During the project, we discovered that the wood under the shingles was all rotten. We had the team replace all the plywood on the roof. Sean and Matt were very transparent and mentioned that this could happen. They also gave us the price for such a scenario in advance and before any work began.

Replacing the wood delayed the project by about a day or two, but that wasn't a big deal because it all took less than a week to complete. Either Sean or Matt was on site the entire time, watching the team closely and managing everything. At the end of it all, we had a final walkthrough. They cleaned the back and front yards and removed the leftover nails with a metal detector. The roof was tested by the big recent storm. We received the warranty certificate a few days ago, and everything looks great.

Our roof was leaking badly over the past couple of days, and we were desperately hoping to find a roofing company for a same day service. I called more than 30 companies, but non had openings. One of the leaks was coming through a light fixture in the bathroom and that really stressed me out.

It was pretty annoying, but I did not give up. My neighbor gave me Sean's number. Sean was heavily booked, but I begged him to add me to his schedule and he actually came on a Saturday! He told me that fixing the roof would be a waste of time and money and that it needed to be replaced, but the work couldn't start until we had a few dry days. In the meantime, he and his team covered the leaking areas with a tarp. Sean and his crew replaced the roof as soon as it stopped raining. They did not waste time and went right to work. He gave us a great price, even though I think he could tell I would probably pay any price to get the leaks to stop and I truly appreciate him not taking advantage the situation. Quite simply one of the better experiences I've had with a service provider in quite a while.

This wasn't an easy journey. We had our roof replaced at the beginning of summer 2024. Our original roof was a tile roof. It was old and needed to be replaced. After doing some research, we decided to convert it into a shingle roof, as it turned out to be a significantly cheaper option than tile.

We met with several roofing companies and eventually hired a contractor. Everything seemed great, and the job was completed surprisingly fast. Summer went by without any issues. However, a couple of weeks ago, it rained for the first time this winter, and water started pouring into our home.

We were extremely nervous and contacted the company that installed the roof to get some answers. They sent a representative who was someone we had never met before. He offered nothing but excuses. After some back and forth, the company sent a team to repair the roof. Unfortunately, when it rained again, the leaks returned.

We decided to reach out to friends and family for guidance and asked if they could recommend a a roofer who can be trusted. We had three roofers come by, all of whom confirmed that the job had been poorly done. One of them was Sean from Nearby Roofing, and he turned out to be an absolute lifesaver.

Apparently, Sean and his team had replaced the roof for a few members of my wife's family, and they were all extremely satisfied with his work. We took his advice and replaced the entire roof. Sean was amazing, he was patient, explained every step in detail, and ensured the work was done on the right side.

We are currently exploring options to get our money back from the original roofing company, and we hope we do. I wish we had consulted friends and family before hiring a roofer, it would have saved us a lot of headaches, time and money. I also wish we had hired Nearby Roofing from the get go. Their work and service are solid. It has rained a few times since the new roof was installed, and everything has been sturdy and leak free. We are nothing but thankful towards.
