Had such a fantastic experience with Neal! The team was so patient with me when I was indecisive about type/color of roof I wanted and went above and beyond to be helpful and make sure that I was taken care of. There was constant communication throughout the process and couldn't be happier with how the roof turned out. Would absolutely recommend to anyone in need of roofing services!

I was referred to this company by my lender. We had more than one company come out to give us quotes, but our initial contract at Neal was awesome, and completely sold us. He listed off all the benefits, repeatedly, measured our roof, and spent lots of time with us answering questions.

The job itself was done very quickly. I've never gotten a new roof before so I have zero comparison. I trust that they fulfilled their job and gave me a wonderful roof.

I do have some feedback for Neal, and I hope this constructive criticism can help them:

As soon as our contract was signed, we were not smoothly transferred to our next point of contact at the company. For updates, we of course contacted our initial contact, who explained that he was the salesperson, and now I would have to get my info from a different department. He was very nice about it, and did help me later on (thank you!), and again, he was an incredible and knowledgeable salesperson. But Neal dropped the ball with leading me to the next step, next communication, and next point of contact in this process. I didn't know that the initial contact was not to be my point person all the way throughout.

I called the company directly to find out when my permit would be approved, and the person who answered the phone she told me that it had already been approved. I asked when they were going to let me know this, and she flat out told me that they only do this for customers who pay (my loan paid everything in full after the job was completed). This was not a great thing to hear! She meant well, and she kindly explained that they contact those clients because they need to collect payment for the permits, but not a great start to chapter 2 in the process.

After that, I still never had a consistent point of contact, and received messages from different people in the company. Multiple Neal representatives consistently texted my phone directly with the intro of: I am FIRSTNAME with Neal Roofing. It would be helpful for them to include their job title!

After my roof was done, I called in to Neal to find out when they would send out the wind mitigation inspection that my salesperson had told me was part of what I would pay for. The office person looked up my contract and informed me that they do not pay for this and it was not in my contract. Luckily, I contacted my salesperson and he really came through and arranged this inspection. I am glad I didn't listen to the office person!

I really hope these details can help the company with their communication.

Update: He challenges the allegations. Take a look at BBB, Nextdoor & the low reviews on google, down to the complaints made on their license under Neilroofing & waterproofing. They all seem to buzz around official complaints and lawsuits. You will see the games this company plays and the tactics to bury bad reviews and scare customers into not writing reviews. I just read on the BBB how you want to charge them $5,000 for a bad review. That's just bad business. Be on the lookout for a highlight of all these reviews you try to bury. So that others don't have to deal with the likes of this company. Buddy, I've been in the industry for over 8 years (lack of experience ). Yeah, leaks in the roof take a PRO to figure out poor workmanship quality. Called out several times to fix the mistakes with a horrible response time ( All documented and ready for court & license board). To anyone reading this, he replied, saying there is 100% customer satisfaction. This is how I know you all are crooks.
Just go to BBB.com and read all the complaints they try to bury ( This customer won't be another buried i can promise you that ). Look at the low reviews on this page. It was a straightforward split. You didn't finish the work; I had to get a professional to complete the job, and we parted ways. Stealing materials? You guys are some joke. HOWEVER, you're trying to collect on work you still need to complete. That's called greed. You didn't finish the job and expect to get paid. A delay in a project doesn't give you a free pass to screw the client. Then, call him a thief because he uses materials that he has already paid for. I will make everything i have public. as well as everything I can find on your review. It looks like pretty deceptive tricks are at play here, and you think you can get one over on clients.

It is very simple: make it right, and move on your way. I move on mine. Only pay for the work completed. That very fair; deal with the attorney in the meantime.

Horrible company. I made the mistake of hiring these crooks. Every formal complaint and lawsuit is coming. I highly advise everyone to stay away. There is a predatory company. No worries. As soon as there is a verdict, I will share it and make it as public as possible. These crooks will see their day in court.

I can't say enough about Neal Roofing and Waterproofing, and how they run their business. In July 2024, Eric came out to my home and spent a lot of time with me, explaining in detail of the different types of roofs, the entire system, from start to finish, he was extremely knowledgeable, his character, professionalism, and overall demeaner was exceptional. He spent the most time with me, and was significantly very detailed, and trust me, I had a lot of questions, I could tell that he was passionate, that in itself influenced me to make the decision on the spot. I had several other roofing companies come out, and I can honestly say, nobody else took the time or was willing to explain the process. Professional from top to bottom.

Tom/Field Manager on my roof replacement, went out of his way to make sure I was happy with everything. On the first day, he gave me his cell number and from that point on, communication was exceptional, throughout every step of the process to the final inspection. He responded immediately and always, and that is extremely important to me. He explained the process, answered all my questions, arrived on time, worked diligently in the hot sun with no unnecessary noise, left my property in immaculate condition, and met all their commitments. Tom even put all of the extra shingles in my shed for me. My overall experience with Neal Roofing and Waterproofing is (10 Stars) excellent/superior.

When the work was done, the workers cleaned up and no mess was left in the yard from their work, not a single nail was left behind. I would highly recommend anyone who needs roofing work to consider Neal Roofing and Waterproofing.

I am very pleased to write this review. From the beginning their approach was very professional. Grayson explained the options, guttering choices and optional solar vent installation.
Materials arrived promptly. We met Isiah who supervised material installation. Isiah stayed with our project, even after his responsibilities ended to ensure our satisfaction. It was reassuring the confidence Grayson and Isiah exhibited regarding any glitches we encountered.
Annie in office assured us all work would be completed to our satisfaction. Nicole in billing was also a tremendous asset. Both exhibited excellent follow through, assured us of quality work, and timely feedback.
Additionally we also found subcontractors of Beacon and Express Seamless Gutters to be highly professional with a commitment to customer satisfaction and work ethic.
We are extremely pleased and would recommend this company for excellent workmanship, follow through to customer satisfaction and professional quality and friendly employees!

I requested a roof inspection for only replacement of 6 or 7 cracked roof tiles with no house leaks. I sent photos over the weekend and just received a call this morning saying to replace them would run $1,000. So unfair price for I'm sure less than 2 hours of work. Could not believe someone could not come out and see in person. The ridiculous thing is I told them I have the new replacement tiles in the garage. Seems like a very unfair price and a rip off.

Unfortunately, this company is not as advertised. Misrepresentations are made and management stands by the lies made by its employees. That spells disaster for the customer. BEWARE and get EVERYTHING in writing if doing business with the company. Good faith is not part of its operational equation. At least, as a result, it won't get any of my money. There are other companies who value integrity over greed.
