We were subjected to Natural Slate Roofing and have many regrets. The work needed to be corrected by another roofer. The positives about them is the work fast and bring a large crew. The negative is they work fast, do not hang copper gutters properly causing water to not flow, they left a large pile of trash and debris, the clay tile workmanship was very amateur compared the the roofer we had fix their work and they did not return to finish the scope of work yet sent a full invoice. When we paid the invoice short hoping for their return to resolve, they sent a lien notice. They are the furthest from a company seeking 100% customer satisfaction as stated on the website. Allan will not return calls. I have an equally if not more dissatisfied neighbor about their work on their house. Beware.

Allan was helpful from the start giving us direction on slate material, roof slate tile layout, numerous roof related design elements and copper details and he remained a steady and reliable professional throughout the course of our long build process. After our roof and gutters were completed, Natural Slate Roofing's talented sheet metal professional ""Jesus"" continued on our project and completed numerous additional copper sheet metal details beautifully for us and we are very thankful to him too. Our slate roof & copper gutters are stunning and we get compliments routinely from friends and neighbors. We just completed a new home with an extremely complicated roof. Natural Slate Roofing was the only company out of 12 that we spoke to who were confident they could install the hand made European flat clay tiles properly, were not intimidated by the steep pitches, and had experience doing this type of roof. Their bid was competitive. We are very satisfied with their work. It is gorgeous and water tight. They took care in every step of the process, from verifying the materials quantities to ensuring our stucco guys were using the right kinds of metals where they abutted the roofing materials. This is a company that knows what they're doing and takes pride in their work, and it shows.

Allan Parker and his crew just completed the installation of a slate roof on my home here in San Mateo and I have to say the roof is the most beautiful one I have ever seen (I might be a bit biased here). Allan patiently worked with me over many months in determining the right slate weight, color combination, and style for my cottage house. The overall job took many weeks but the result is outstanding. I ended up with a combination of gray and green slate with a staggered look.

Allan is the nicest and most trustworthy contractor I have worked with over the years. He always followed through with everything he promised, and he and his team were in constant communication throughout the entire project. They kept the property as clean and tidy as one could possibly do with such a big effort.
