Gerald McKinney, our founder has been engaged in the remodeling industry for decades. Indeed, after he founded his initial company back in 1964, he’s never looked back! He continues to take an active role in our business’s day-to-day activities, as well as in ensuring the continuous improvement of our products—from replacement windows to bathrooms to roofing services.

My father, Gerald, founded National HomeCraft in the year 1964. After earning my contractor licenses and Roofing Contractors License, I began my own roofing firm called SolarShield Industries. Several years back, I integrated into my father’s firm, which allowed my dad to partially retire while I managed the construction end of operations. He still participates in managing the company and providing guidance from time to time.
