Mitch Willis started in the construction sector at 14, serving as a carpenter and laborer while attending high school. While in college, he worked weekends for a local construction company and graduated with a degree in industrial systems technology at 21. Afterward, he embarked on a career as an Engineering Technician in the Facilities Engineering Department at the Albany Marine Corps Base.

While working at the marine base, Mitch took on contracting work on the side and established MVW Roofing in 2011. After 11 years, he transitioned from his position at the base to become a firefighter, allowing him more time to focus on his business.

Eight months later, Mitch discovered he needed to medically retire as a firefighter due to the necessity of a pacemaker. This change allowed him even more time to focus on his business, and he earned a state residential general contractor's license at 29, followed by a light commercial state license three years later.

As the owner of MVW Roofing, Mitch oversees employee management, project management, and job site meetings. He values building relationships with his clients and fostering a positive reputation for his company. He loves the construction field and is dedicated to assisting homeowners!

In his spare moments, Mitch enjoys golfing, fishing, and doing things with his wife and three children. He spends 60% of his free time with his family and the remaining 40% tackling projects for his wife around the house.
