Mitch Willis started in the construction sector at 14, serving as a carpenter and laborer while attending high school. He maintained this work on weekends for a local construction business while studying in college, obtaining a degree in industrial systems technology by the age of 21. He then started working as an Engineering Technician in the Facilities Engineering Department at the Albany Marine Corps Base.

While at the marine base, Mitch continued to work as a contractor on the side and eventually founded MVW Roofing in 2011. After 11 years, he shifted his role at the base to become a firefighter, which provided him with more time to dedicate to his business.

Eight months later, Mitch discovered he needed to medically retire as a firefighter due to the necessity of a pacemaker. This change allowed him even more time to focus on his business, and he earned a state residential general contractor's license at 29, followed by a light commercial state license three years later.

As the owner of MVW Roofing, Mitch oversees employee management, project management, and job site meetings. Mitch enjoys cultivating relationships with his customers and establishing a strong reputation for his business. Mitch is passionate about the construction industry and helping homeowners!

During his leisure time, Mitch likes to golf, fish, and engage in activities with his wife and three kids. He spends 60% of his free time with his family and the remaining 40% tackling projects for his wife around the house.
