Mitch Willis began his journey in construction at the age of 14, working as a carpenter and laborer throughout high school. While in college, he worked weekends for a local construction company and graduated with a degree in industrial systems technology at 21. Afterward, he embarked on a career as an Engineering Technician in the Facilities Engineering Department at the Albany Marine Corps Base.

While working at the marine base, Mitch took on contracting work on the side and established MVW Roofing in 2011. Eleven years later, he changed his role at the base to a firefighter, giving him additional time to concentrate on his business.

Eight months later, Mitch discovered he needed to medically retire as a firefighter due to the necessity of a pacemaker. This change allowed him even more time to focus on his business, and he earned a state residential general contractor's license at 29, followed by a light commercial state license three years later.

As MVW Roofing's owner, Mitch is in charge of managing employees, overseeing projects, and leading job site meetings. He takes pleasure in developing connections with his clients and creating a favorable image for his company. Mitch is enthusiastic about the construction business and committed to supporting homeowners!

During his leisure time, Mitch likes to golf, fish, and engage in activities with his wife and three kids. He spends 60% of his free time with his family and the remaining 40% tackling projects for his wife around the house.
