Mitch Willis started in the construction sector at 14, serving as a carpenter and laborer while attending high school. While in college, he worked weekends for a local construction company and graduated with a degree in industrial systems technology at 21. Following that, he began his career as an Engineering Technician in the Facilities Engineering Department at the Albany Marine Corps Base.

During his time at the marine base, Mitch also worked as a contractor on the side and launched MVW Roofing in 2011. After 11 years, he shifted his role at the base to become a firefighter, which provided him with more time to dedicate to his business.

Eight months after that, Mitch learned he had to medically retire from firefighting after realizing he required a pacemaker. This change allowed him even more time to focus on his business, and he earned a state residential general contractor's license at 29, followed by a light commercial state license three years later.

As the owner of MVW Roofing, Mitch oversees employee management, project management, and job site meetings. He takes pleasure in developing connections with his clients and creating a favorable image for his company. He loves the construction field and is dedicated to assisting homeowners!

In his free time, Mitch enjoys golfing, fishing, and participating in activities with his wife and three children. Mitch allocates 60% of his leisure time to family and the other 40% to completing projects for his wife at home.
