At just 14, Mitch Willis entered the construction field, taking on roles as a carpenter and laborer during his high school years. He maintained this work on weekends for a local construction business while studying in college, obtaining a degree in industrial systems technology by the age of 21. Following that, he began his career as an Engineering Technician in the Facilities Engineering Department at the Albany Marine Corps Base.

While at the marine base, Mitch continued to work as a contractor on the side and eventually founded MVW Roofing in 2011. After 11 years, he shifted his role at the base to become a firefighter, which provided him with more time to dedicate to his business.

Eight months later, Mitch discovered he needed to medically retire as a firefighter due to the necessity of a pacemaker. This change allowed him even more time to focus on his business, and he earned a state residential general contractor's license at 29, followed by a light commercial state license three years later.

In his role as the owner of MVW Roofing, Mitch manages employees, oversees projects, and conducts job site meetings. He values building relationships with his clients and fostering a positive reputation for his company. He loves the construction field and is dedicated to assisting homeowners!

In his free time, Mitch enjoys golfing, fishing, and participating in activities with his wife and three children. Mitch allocates 60% of his leisure time to family and the other 40% to completing projects for his wife at home.
