Our roof sustained wind damage and we found asphalt shingles in our yard.  We initiated an insurance claim and called a few roofing companies to provide free quotes.  MRC Roofing wasn't the cheapest quote we received but because of the thoroughness of the quote with pictures, notes and materials used for the job we went with MRC and it was a good thing also because Jon at MRC provided enough information about our roof to the insurance company that they did in fact settle on our claim for a new roof.  MRC came recommended by Poncho's Solar.  Poncho's and MRC worked hand in hand to coordinate the job with as little downtime as possible for both our PV electric and hot water solar systems on the roof that needed to be detached and re-attached.  The insurance claim also included money for the solar scopes.  MRC was able to complete the job in one day and I had a new roof.  Our original roof was a lite color but years of algae had turned it black and made for a hot living space in our high ceiling living room.  Our attic was hot also.  Jon took a laser temperature reading for us and showed the attic to be well over 100 degrees.  We now have a solar attic fan also and our living room is noticeably cooler.  I would highly recommend MRC Roofing.

Mark did the estimat and lined up roof crew, solar and solar water heating replacement crews for our home. He handled all the coordination and paperwork between different crews/sub contractors. Mark was very informative and responsive. Work quality was excellent. Highly recommend!

It has been over a month since I had my roof estimated for repairs by Cadman and I haven't received my estimate yet. I contacted Cadman about a week or so after he came to look at my roof and he assured me that he will get to it. I know the repair job is not a huge job for them but when you promise an estimate I think you should deliver.

Hello, I just wanted to write a quick note to inform everyone about MRC Roofing. MRC has reroofed my house and my mother's house over the last two years with new asphalt shingles. They worked with my insurance companies to provide the replacements due to wind damage and damage caused by termite tenting. They even provided new guttering and some painting where it was needed. I can't recommend MRC high enough. My houses look great and there's no more leaking. MRC even put me in contact with a great interior painter to remedy the water staining. I was also able to make payment with credit card for the Hawaiian miles. Call MRC today, if you need roofing. Aloha!

Mike Chu is very knowledgeable and wonderful to work with. He is honest and thorough when explaining any proposed work. Solar panel company noticed some screws sticking out on roof so called MRC. Mike came out to inspect, explained the situation and his recommendation. Luckily caught early so simple repair. Mike inspected other areas of roof and did some minor repairs at no additional cost. MRC is now my go to expert for any roofing questions or concerns.

MRC review
On the recommendation of a general home inspector, I needed a professional roofer to take a closer look at the roof. The home was in escrow and needed an inspection right away. It was the weekend and all offices were closed so I contacted through websites. Jon Vaughn responded Monday morning and was able to come that same afternoon. After his inspection, Jon declared the roof needed complete repair. He showed us photos, had sample of the rusted nails he found, and walked around the roof to show how loose some shingles were. Jon spent a lot of time with the seller and the buyer answering their questions about this roof and roofs in general. He was very knowledgeable and by just a glance could determine the type of roofs of neighboring houses. The buyer and seller will be working out their terms of the purchase in light of the information. I can't say that they will choose MRC or anyone but I can say that Jon is a very experienced roofing expert and quick to respond.

So I am still waiting for a full refund with Mike Chu owner of MRC Roofing. The roof that he replaced on my home was completely removed after finding serious problems with what his company did when he repaired my roof. First, there were roofing nails found when the roof was removed of nails that went thru my electrical wires to my home. As to why my breaker kept tripping for two years. I was told by Mike Chu that I need to rewire my home because it was an old home and that I was trying to get his company to pay for new electrical wiring. Of which when my roof was being totally removed found and documented of nails that went right thru the wires of caused a fire according to the Roofing company!

I just had my roof redone by MRC. They provided me with a 50 year lifetime labor & material warranty, which means that the material manufacturer is now responsible for my roof if anything goes wrong with it due to material failure or workmanship issues. The manufacturer doesn't give this kind of warranty out to just anybody. They only give this warranty out to customers like me if the roof was installed by factory certified installers, which gives me peace of mind knowing my money was well spent.

I received three quotes for my reroofing job and MRC was the highest. I asked why they were higher than the other roofers and my salesman showed me the difference between the proposals. The other roofers were either using inferior nails or inferior underlayment or inferior drip edge...

If I were selling my house anytime soon, I would have went with the cheapest roofer, but i plan on keeping this house for a long time so i went with the best. If you are looking for a great roofer and want to have zero worries about your roof in the future, call MRC and at least get a free quote.

I really liked solar reflective agave and MRC Roofing had to special order it from the manufacturer. This company is extremely honest and professional. Yes MRC roofing is as good as it gets. From beginning to end, MRC staff worked to meet my needs in an efficient, caring manner. Roofing crew was timely, courteous, neat and quiet. Gutters were installed and look fantastic. Customer service A+. I only wish they covered more housing areas so I didn't have to deal with any other companies
