Mr Skylight, as advertised, knows everything about skylights in general, and particularly about Velux skylights, who have been making them for more than 3 decades. I had 5 similar sized skylights made by Velux that had been installed about 10 years ago, but I wanted the solar powered actuators for both the skylight and the blind for some very high ceilings. He was very professional, kept on point as we discussed, he leveled with me from start to finish and delivered exactly as promised through supply chain issues and a detailed order process so we got exactly what I wanted. Then, once the product was delivered and all was accounted for, he scheduled within a week the install time, and brought the right crew with the right skills, supervised them himself and participated in particular parts of the installation that were to his spec and within his install window. The crew was on time, work progressed as planned and when there needed to be some improvisation, he directed that work through to delivered and installed ahead of schedule. He is a very detailed person who planned everything out in advance and for any situation. While we moved the furniture and put away the ceramics and took down the artwork from the walls, he protected everything in the house, provided walkways for team, and even provided for dust just in case though they made VERY little dust. The man is a master, and deserves all the accolades you see here for his services, his logistics and his attention to the smallest detail. The results are stunning! You cannot tell the work had been done, no touch up paint jobs in both rooms. Actually I can tell because he showed me where he did one little touch up, but other than that, both the roof side and the interior is flawless. I'm guessing the roofwork will be exactly like his interior work (functionally) because I watched them do it. The Velux flashing kit is not for the faint of heart, it has many pieces but Ladd knows that system and has done them for decades. Our low pitch roofs will test the water security but I have super high faith in his installation. I'll return here once the rains have come to report but I'm going to lose exactly no sleep over it. He's an expert roofer besides being MrSkylight. I've hired a lot of contractors including roof, solar, and just about every trade, and his planning, his attention to detail and his sense of accomplishment for his customers is all top notch. You can't get a better job, at any cost, and his prices are right there with everyone else. AND, he fills out paperwork for your CPA to claim all the available tax deduction for the job. I heartily recommend MrSkylight.

Mr. Skylight (Ladd) was the first one I called to service my skylights. After talking to him on the phone I did not call another service person. He came across as honest and professional.
He came out, replaced the bad transformer on the skylight motor, glued in the gaskets, all done in a professional way. He covered all the areas he was working on and protected my furniture and counters. I will definitely call him next time I have a problem with my skylights. I highly recommend him.
