Loved that they showed up to our house during the scheduled time, with masks on, and they installed both skylights. They completed the whole job very expeditiously in one day. Additionally, they were thorough in covering every surface in the kitchen and cleaning up very well after their work was done. We are very happy with the final result. Now just have to have the light wells insulated, sheet rocked and textured (outside of Mr. skylight's scope of work). Thank you for your swift and excellent handling of the job.

Ladd and his team are responsive, efficient, respectful and expert. I would highly recommend Mr. Skylight. The solar powered opening skylights that they installed make a tremendous difference to our home. The airflow is better, the light quality is nicer, the shades are infinitely superior, and the remote control is a really lovely convenience. They are wonderful.

Our old leaky aluminum 1960s bubble skylights had their day, but they will not be missed.

I would highly recommend Ladd for any skylight or venting needs. He is very detail oriented, has experience with all aspects of house construction, and is just a great guy to work with.

I had 2 older oddly sized bubble skylights that needed to be replaced. They were in a tricky part of the roof to access. While he was up there, he noted that one was a 1/4""longer than the other and custom ordered to those measurements. We have a lot more light with the new low profile clear skylights and no leaks.

Very happy with his work and will be calling again when our other skylights need replacement.

The old skylight was leaking, improperly installed, and operated with a manual crank. Ladd's replacement is solar powered and remotely operated. There was nothing short of perfection before, during, and after.

Ladd showed up promptly for both estimate and installation. He even tested my roof and existing old skylights for leaks which wasn't part of his job. As soon as he received the skylights he scheduled my job and in just a few hours was done. He protected my indoor room from falling debris with sheets and plastic and cleaned up afterwards. I selected him after reading other reviews and was so impressed I just had him do the job without getting other quotes. I was not disappointed! My room is so much cooler now, a 100 degree day, with those new skylights. Ladd is competent, personable, and responsive. He was a pleasure to do business with.

Ladd was: prompt, professional, accommodating, experienced, honest, fairly priced, trustworthy, what else can one ask of a professional?

We called Mr. Skylight to look into installing an opening crank for one of our skylights for better ventilation and cooler temperature in the garage. Ladd gave the very good professional advice to install a speed control attic fan instead--which he said would more dramatically help lower our temperature and be more economic. It was great advice! The fan has dramatically lowered the temperature in our garage, making it very usable for an office.

Ladd came out for consultation one day, I ordered the part he recommended, it arrived two days later, and Ladd installed it about two days after that! It was the fastest turnaround on a project I had ever seen.

Ladd was professional and considerate in his padding and protection and precise and thorough in his work (even spray painting the exterior of the fan to match our other roof parts!).

Would absolutely hire again. A real pro and great man of service.

This seems odd but accurate to say - Ladd loves skylights. He has decades of experience in roofing and made the switch to a specific focus on skylights. I felt confident with his thorough and insightful assessments, pricing, punctuality and attention to detail. We even had a skylight that wasn't in the scope of Ladd's proposal, but he went ahead and treated that one ""on the house"" just because it would've bothered him to leave it less than perfect. Great skylights, On Time, On Budget

We had two drafty, drippy old skylights that needed an upgrade. We called Mr. Skylight and got 2 new Solar powered skylights that keep us warm in the winter and will let the hot air out in the summer. Best of all, these are solar powered and don't need any electrical wiring for the remote. Ladd called back the same day and met us for an estimate when he promised. In addition, he was up on our roof installing the day that he committed. Home repairs always come with a worry about the cost. These were competitive in the market and Ladd delivered all the paperwork we needed for the federal energy discounts. When we need new or replacement skylights... we're calling Mr. Skylight.

I've had Mr Skylight out twice: First visit was when my roofer suggested my skylights were the reason we had roof leaks. He took the time necessary to explain how this was not possible and how the roofer should have known it was the roofing material that had failed. That visit was free of charge. The second visit was when I had to destroy one to get in to our house when the door lock failed. The work was impeccable and it's a gorgeous installation. We have four more to do in the coming months, and Ladd is the only person I trust to go up there.
