Sharon, how could you say that you came back twice, mountain roofing Did Not come bck and offer to finish repair and the job that shows on pics looks exactly the same with the the rock they got from my yard in the same spot your guys put it. You put nails in my roof to hold the tarp down, and now I'll have holes in my roof wwhere the nails were put. It was a bad job for 495.oo dollars. Awful. Why would I want mountain roofing to fix my roof ever again. Not all businesses are as they claim. Others should know , i wish I had! Debra Lococo

There are so many aspects to getting a roof. Somethings with Mountain roofing were 3 stars, others were 5 stars. I liked the no nonsense estimate. Sean just showed up and quickly did the estimate. Other companies I called wasted my time with a slide show and slick salesmanship. I got conflicting info from different companies. I called the tile manufacturer to see which company was accurate and they told me the same thing Mountain Roofing did. Meaning Mountain was giving accurate info and the other big name company was not.
Mountain roofing did the roof when they said they would and finished on time. They were all professional, friendly, and courteous. They were great about protecting my plants during tear off. They also did not charge me extra for a new board I needed and they could have. I often did not get texts back from Sean, but when I called the office they were always helpful. The only bad thing was for some strange reason they didn't cover my deck during the process and now it's got tiny gummy raised black spots ALL over it. They do not come off with a hose or broom. There are WAY to many to scrap off. I called and was told Sean would come look at it but so far he hasn't. I will have to hire someone to come see if they can come get the guck off, and am not happy about having to pay for that. The gummy stuff on the deck is getting tracked into the house and onto my carpet so I don't want to keep waiting for Sean to come by. I'm NOT happy about them not covering the deck or coming by to tell me what that stuff is!! But I am happy with the roof, employees, and everything else overall.

I highly recommend Mountain Roofing Systems. Seven years ago MRS replaced the roofing on my 97-year-old mom's roof. A minor leak developed five years later, and Donny was out the next day to seal a chimney flashing. Seven years later, after the heavy snow, my mom had questions about the gutters. Again, Donny was very responsive and came out and inspected the gutters.

I've remodeled four houses and worked with many contractors. Donny stands out as being the most responsive and responsible.

Very professional and responsive. I was pretty nervous as some things didn't go so smoothly but every issue was addressed. It's easy when things go well on a project but true professionals navigate the bumps (and nervous home owners) with tact and action. Definitely recommend.

In the winter of 2021, after just recovering from the Caldor fire evacuations, our newly purchased home experienced a partial roof truss collapse due to the weight of ice and snow.

As a result, there was an insurance claim filed and an estimate for repairs provided by the Carrier. In order to do our due diligence, we received estimates from many local and regional roofers who were interested in the work.

After whittling it down to 3 companies (Mountain, American Eagle and Nail It!), we decided to go with Mountain - because they were local and they had the Owens-Corning system and color that we wanted for the new truss system.

We were very impressed with Sean and Melissa - at how attentive to detail they were to all of our questions and technical needs, as well as the communication about demolition dates, roof loading dates and installation.

Due to the fact that we had to coordinate with the general contractor on rolling the new trusses, installing sheathing and County inspections - all before they loaded the roof in preparation for the installation , my phone calls and text messages with Sean and the office staff were constant.

But they answered all of the questions, worked with our availability and readiness dates and were very understanding about the whole situation.

Above all, what stands out to me is the integrity of Sean and his staff when something went awry and something was inadvertently damaged in the course of demolition. He (Sean) immediately responded with care and concern and didn't make excuses for the error. Instead, he corrected the matter and we moved on with the project.

Most other companies would make excuses and/or try to avoid the responsibility - which shows lack of character and integrity. Not Mountain Roofing Systems. They are rock stars and I'm so happy that we chose their product and crews to complete the work on the house.

---Received call from the owner, thank you for the prompt response and clarification. MRS won't do final painting/touch up (though they will treat the wood) around flashing should it be necessary and that makes sense. Probably buried in the agreement somewhere, but I'd remind folks so they can take necessary steps to complete. Thanks for your attention to the matter.

Did a fine job on my roof, just don't pay before the job is done, my bad I suppose. All the detail work incomplete and I have to do it myself lest I leave the untreated wood exposed. After 5 interactions and being told the job would be complete, it still isn't a year later and I'm doing it myself. Major PITA.

All businesses should be run like this! From start to finish, Mountain Roofing was professional, efficient and a pleasure to deal with. Their price was reasonable (the best, actually) and they finished our beautiful roof in 2 days. Communication from the business was excellent and friendly. And we were extremely impressed by the work ethic of the crew. Our property was cleaner when they left! A new roof costs a lot of money and it's a big decision. We're glad we chose Mountain Roofing. It was a positive experience and we really appreciate it.
