The Moss Boss was a no show late last Fall 2023. I went to Split Gutter. But the verdict is still out on SG's moss removal until next Spring 2025. So, I reserve comment until then on Moss Boss pending a promising result from SG.

The owner is very difficult to work with. He has a problem with contacting people.
He writes rude texts when asked about quality of work. We bought a year service but never want the guy near us. His personality goes from nice to angry in a minute by calling you names and cursing

Moss removal service was satisfactory but don't let them do any gutter cleaning. They messed up our gutters which resulted in rain now coming down the side of the house and damaging the siding of the house. After the first rain it took several attempts to contact them. During the past 2+ weeks several messages have been left to them. At first a message was returned that someone would be by the next day for repairs but no one came by. An additional message was left stating someone from the team was notified and would be coming. We have yet to see anyone repair the damage that they have incurred.

I purchased a 5-yr preventative plan in Jul 22. A year later, when I started asking about scheduling, the owner (Mike Kennedy) became coy and less than transparent. After 3 weeks of being told ""any day now"" or ""should be before the weekend"" (and nearly 3 months beyond the one-year treatment timeline) I'd had enough so I requested a refund. Said request triggered the owner, and he followed it with a string of threatening texts. He went so far as to tell me that he was in a motorcycle gang and he would perpetuate violence towards me if I wrote him a negative review or went to the BBB.

Bottomline: This is a contractor to avoid at all costs. Do not allow around your family or property.

I have been waiting over a month and two missed appointments for the estimate. Imagine how long it will take to do the work. I have texted multiple times, now he doesn't even respond back. Horrible company.

Moss Boss just demossed and treated our roof (with preventative), Trex deck into the house, and did a light pressure wash on the house to make it a little cheaper for us when the painter comes for no extra charge. The boss came to check on things, and left, as things were going smoothly. There were two very respectful young men. It didn't look like an easy job, and took just under 8 hours to do, but well under $1000. Our roof and deck look beautiful! I highly recommend them.

Worst business in Anchorage. If I could give 0 stars I would. Fails to complete work as contracted. Absolutely do not have them do any work for you.
