John Mortensen is the best!!! He is so kind, and he goes out of his way to make sure that people are taken care of. Today he had his employees come over and install gutters on our home that needed them desperately. He was so considerate, thoughtful and they did an excellent job. Just in time for the first rain of the summer! The timing was perfect! John has over 30+ years of experience in his business, and he is reliable, dependable, reasonable and he's very tall so he can reach any roof. I highly recommend him!

John is an honest professional with a lot of experience. I was told I needed repairs on my roof during an inspection, I called Mortensen and John showed up the next day, at a time of my choosing. Mortenson Roofing is a great company! Last year we had a repair done.The quote was reasonable and our leak problem disappeared. This year we called them again and John, the owner was honest enough to tell us it was merely a clogged gutter. Not everyone would be so honest. When you can't go to the top of your roof yourself, call Mortenson Roofers. You don't have to worry about their honesty or integrity.

Mortensen's did a great job on our new roof. They responded quickly with a quote, and scheduling the install. They converted from shake to composite with 2 sun tunnels. They were efficient and clean and priced a little below others.

My home needed a new roof. I called several roofing companies for bids. Not only was I looking for a good price, but because of the expense of putting on a new roof, it was important to trust the company I selected to do a good job. Although today Composition Shingle is the more common roofing material, John (owner) and his team installed a wood shake roof on my home. THEY DID A FABULOUS JOB AND EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS!! The owner John, showed up on time a couple weeks back and gave a bid with a good explanation of what the problem was. He did as the poor review said go up on the roof and showed me deteriorated paper but mainly focused on the valley flashing which was inadequate to handle the flow when the rain was heavy. He submitted a a good bid. When I asked him to show proof of insurance it was dropped off the next day. I was not here when the work was done but the neighbor said he up there better than 3 hours. The total was $695 and it did not leak a bit when it poured the next day. We can now fold our carper back and move the furniture where it belongs!
I wouldn't hesitate to refer him. This was the third contractor to try to deal with this problem. I think we got it this time!

I had an excellent experience using Mortensen Roofing and would highly recommend this company.

My situation was unique in that it was not a straight forward roof replacement. A large part of the roof was fine, however I had several problem areas including a leak that needed to be addressed.

When I contacted other roofers the input ranged from two extremes. Some just took the easy way out and recommended replacing the whole roof. Others came up with shortcut ideas that wouldn't solve the problems over the long-term.

I chose Mortensen Roofing based on the solutions proposed by the owner John Mortensen. The work was completed this summer, and now in January after several heavy rains I can report that all of the repairs have fixed the problems and the roof is performing better than ever.

The crew that did the work was outstanding and they put in the extra effort to get things done right.

What I particularly appreciated about hiring this company was the excellent judgment and guidance provided by John Mortensen. He clearly has a great deal of experience, and also has the ability to make good balanced decisions.

I feel fortunate to have found this company, will use them again in the future, and I recommend them to others.

Very fast and polite. Pricing is reasonable and work is done immediately. Willing to take on small repairs without charging a steep price for a small job or putting you off for bigger jobs. I am very satisfied and would recommend to everyone!

I would highly recommend Mortensen's Roofing. It has been one of the most pain free large work projects that I've encountered and that has been plenty!
